I didn't like them either... But Antonino refused to remove them... I don't think he took anyones suggestions and did something with. It's his edit, not anyone else's so hope he learns for the next one that people do have good advice... It's took bad that more people didn't see the previews of the movie, because then more people would have been able to tell him their suggestions on what to keep and what to remove and maybe he would listen.
I'm feeling nuclear right now..

yeh narration would have helped it, and maybe ppl OUTSIDE the rave scene would undestand
wtf is going on, maybe some captions for the french and spanish?

Definitely less chipmunk, and more explanations, ex: like why rainboo hangs out
with homeless ppl, answer some questions the audience might be asking themselves
while watching this thing. It could have been great!

All I want to know is, and I'm pretty certain of the answer, is did I make even one appearance in this film? If everything went according to plan I managed to entirely avoid being photographed or filmed by Antonio in any way shape or form. It wasn't even very hard. The art of tactful avoidance and much less tactful walking away from him when he once tried to introduce himself.

Anyway, I think we've all learned a lesson here. Anybody can make a fucking movie, and almost anybody can get a grant. After all, someone paid Tommy Wiseau to make "The Room".
I'm feeling shkombombolated right now..

Honestly watch the 30 min Donk documentary on [ VBS.tv ] "heart of donkness". That is a great example of a doc on a 'rave' scene if you want to call it that.

This was a lot of footage shot on a point and shoot pocket camera made up mostly of interviews with people during loud parties and it was hard to make out a lot of the audio anyway.

It would be better to follow around 4-5 interesting or fucked up people instead of having 100 'hi my name is bla bla' interviews.
I'm feeling meow right now..

lol ok i heard them chipmunk :p slightly random
Psonyk: so high-pitch voice is annoying? Aww -__- Good thing I am no socialite ;) I prefer dancing to talking.

i would agree about having less "hi my name is, and my plans for the future are", altho having some of the better ones would still be cool. Also, Following a couple of "Key" raver kids, would have been a great idea... and have them talk about different aspects of the scene n stuff like that, what made certain parties better than others...

I'd also like to see more interviews, with knowledgeable people, from things like how the mtl scene started, or how it once was in the 90's etc, to things like, which dj's did crazy stuff, which promoters did crazy stuff etc etc etc etc etc, you know what i'm sayin'.

But all in all, it was an interesting video to watch, i liked the footage, was a fun journey.

oh, and i'd definitely add more Dialect in it also!
I'm feeling like a sketchbook! right now..

It's pretty well edited actually, and I'm glad to look like a tool and say a few words in it :D

Would've been cool to have some narration but this is the best Canadian rave movie I've seen. Usually the people involved are so sketchy that they never go anywhere. I won't name names but anybody from Ottawa knows what I'm talking about :P
