 Coolness: 265930 | Sound editing is fucking terrible in this, my brain felt raped in every way possible. As for vid editing, I don't know, nothing special at all it's exactly like the "trailers".
I could only watch the first 15 minutes or so though, for some reason it stopped playing after that (probably some AI effort by my computer to save me from more audio editing no-no's) and I accidentally clicked outside the vid box and it exited the whole thing, will reload some other time. Oh and the creepy peeping-tomish vid of the girl walking around in her dimly lit apartment putting on her earings........... I don't have anything else to add to that except more dots. I'll watch the whole thing some other time, on another computer that's hopefully not as laggy as this one.. I'm sure it's fun to see people we know and parties we've been to on video, but honestly, I'm just 15 minutes in and it's already hard to watch, I'm not sure how I'm gonna do this in one sitting.. Should've maybe actually worked on the editing a bit more and left out some of these pointless interviews where ppl have absolutely nothing pertinent to say (tho granted, maybe it gets better and more interesting after 15 minutes..). |

 Coolness: 152980 | well, my opinion is the same than before, it 2 hours + of random footage "badly" edited.
its not a "movie" nor a "documentary". its 2 hours of rave footage and interviews "sans queue ni tetes". the trailers were on-point, because, if really they were a "practice", well, the movie is one too. some footage is really bad, like filming the back of a girl for like 40 sec and then, see the dj for 2 seconds, then back at the girl's back (not her ass, her back). chipmunks part? wtf... the picture in picture thing, when in the center and displaying the same thing as the other, is bad, we cant see anything because the small image is too small AND hides the important in the big (when centred), the same "principe" has been applied in the top right corner somewhere in the movie and the effect that it gives is nice, but not in the middle. i think antonino should have kept only the best of the footage, like 45 min to 1 hour, and should have told something with his movie, like a progression or some kind of "story", then it would have been awesome, because some of the footage are really nice, but its like 1/4 of the movie, the rest is kinda bleh. and please, dont put music over the music recorded by the camera, 2 tracks totally unrelated playing together = dies, and music at 130 bpm when the crowd is dancing clearly to 180 bpm makes the whole thing look cheap. considering the energy that antonino has put in this, and all that went with it, im really dissapointed, and my expectation werent high at all. im pretty sure antonino can do ALOT better than that, there are parts that proves hes got talent, but its not like that overall. Im being the most constructive i can be about the movie, my point is not to bash, because i recognize the energy put in it, but it isnt enough. |

Now people are going to think that all kandi kids communicate like chipmunks and that all ravers do drugs and have no goals in life. I have a goal in life, which is to....to.....uh do something that involves.....um stuff....with drugs...no that can't be right....uh...things that need to be done....yeah...something like that. |
