 Coolness: 79430 | I must agree with most people here... I have been very skeptical about that project from the start, mostly judging from all the animosity it seemed to stir up. In the end, the final result is a very cool recollection of honest commentaries covering many different local (underground or not) party scenes.
I like the fact that there is no commentator to provide a pre-defined point of view, rather letting the audience make their own opinion of what they are seeing and hearing. Props to the footage of The Final Raves'R'Us! The Save Me massive sing-along part is EPIC! =D Damn I wish we had more HHC parties @ Level, this place is so perfect (despite it being in Laval). |

| Coolness: 79430 | Yeah, it's more or less like stumbling upon old tapes you even forgotten you had filmed, and watch it again just for the memories. I mostly skipped over the parts taking place at parties I didn't attend, which is like 90% of the whole 3 hours.
I also wish it would be split into some kind of structure, so I didn't have to download and browse through the whole 3 hours to watch the parts about the Hardcore scene or the psy parties. I'm also a bit disappointed that the title still makes no sense, even once the footage fully released. Why not just call it something more generic, that would at least give a hint of explanation or sense to the unaware watcher about what he is about to see? |

c'est exactement comme je pensais que ça allais être en checkant les vidéos, y'a quoi, presque 2 ans? j'imagine que pour ceux pour qui ça représente quelque chose, ça doit être "touchant" mais le film à pas 5 minutes de faite, qu'y'a déjà des longueurs? haha je répète pour ceux que ça représente de quoi, jcomprend que c'est surement aussi touchant qu'un journal photo souvenir mais pour les autres, qui regarde cela avec un oeil extérieur critique, jdois pas être la seule qui trouve que "the movie" est pas vraiment un film. je sais pas, je vois plus ça comme un diaporama vidéos qu'un film le temps et les émotions investie se ressentent bien, mais tout le long j'avais l'impression de regarder un album de famille. ce qui est vraiment pas mal, mais ça veut aussi dire pas intéressant |

I mean, it's not even a documentary, we don't learn anything constructive about the rave scene. We learn jack shit in fact. Of course it's a nice trip back for some of us but I still can't wrap my brains around the fact it got a grant. |
