Jogging, country skiing, all the same shit to me: Running away from your problems lol. speak for yourself. I love jogging! I'm not crazy about jogging in the winter but I still do it. I'm actually about to go for a jog right now.. I recorded a 90 minute DJ set just now - put it on my mp3 player.. then I'll go jog 3.5 km loops and review my mix until the 90 minutes is up, and then I head home. I don't see that as running away from problems. lol. far from it. I feel great during and after the jog. for me personally it's really good meditation. so long as I have music to listen to I can jog super far. I just trance out and get lots of creative ideas. and on top of that I'm getting a really good workout, getting in shape, improving stamina etc etc. when I get home from the jog I feel amazing. so you can't really say it's a negative thing. That's only your opinion. and what are you suggesting as an alternative? I'm no expert on achieving a state of zen or enlightenment or Sartori or whatever you want to call it. but when I used to take martial arts I read a little bit about it. I read a book on Zen Buddhism and this monk was teaching the student that enlightenment can be reached by any number of paths unique to the individual. what suits one may not work for another. his lesson was that don't have to adhere to rigid dogma, and in fact it can be limiting to do so - it can put blinders on that prevent you from finding your way. so.. if someone achieves a state of Zen through jogging or cross-country skiing, or DJing, or whatever it is they have chosen.. who are you to say they're on the wrong path? and on that note - I'm off for my jog. I really do hope when I get back that instead of getting angry you'll actually explain what you meant - peace! |

DynV asked for explanations, we ended up having a pretty nice convo, sharing ideas and different opinions about the whole psy ideology and different paths to self betterment. Then Agui-dude busted out some pretty blood thirsty shit at DynV and me for no apparent reason. Kinda blaming Ussef in the process. I got a little Mark-ish on him, but ended up telling him he should chill and that if he didn't feel happy about doing deco, that he should quit it or chage his views on it. Mentionned he was always a pretty cool dude the few times I met him, but I tough he was being a little douchey and that he should chill out instead of bark at people. I don't see drama, I just see a dude with a blown fuse. @Yoshin: yeah, I cold in fact google it up and shit, but I think it's stupid to speak to people in a way that they for shure will not understand. Especially when directed directly at me after a quote. |
