I love myspace. I found tons of old high school friends and amazing musicians on top of the musicians I already know. I became friends with a few kick ass bands - good to meet people in the rock scene. Also if u are single it is good to meet people for a wine and dine;)

Disadvantage - yes you get tons of friend requests by djs/bands/people you dont know. Just ignore it or decline. No big deal.

Well I THINK the MAL was ADOPTED yesterday!!! I did not see him...
He is short haired - HUGE...MONSTER. HE reaches me when he stands and I am 5'10. He is also very young...I think 1yr old...He is a big goof:)
BUt I will let u know if he was adopted - if not let me know what your frined thinks..his name is lucky:)

Yes my dog is the best!!! She is brown and black..weird mix...

Oh also if your friend lives in a big place with lots of space to run around - we have a retired sledding dog named Mooky. he is INSANELY energetic - 6 years old. All Black with a bit of white and crystal blue eyes...he is sooooooooooooooo nice. But he needs to be outside a lot to run around...I think he misses the sledding...but he cant do it anymore he needs to relax:)
A family adopted him but they brought him back because he wanted to be outside all the time and they didnt want him too...so dumb.

WHAT, ASK THEM FOR CHANGE??? BAD JOKES ASIDE THOUGH, I DON'T OFTEN GIVE MONEY TO HOMELESS PEOPLE, AND I GAVE UP A LONG TIME AGO ON TRYING TO HELP THEM... SOMETIMES I ENGAGE IN RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS BUT MOSTLY I'M APATHETIC TO THEIR PROBLEMS AND TO THE PROBLEMS OF THE WORLD... IT'S NOT THAT I DON'T CARE, IT'S THAT I FEEL THAT ALL OF THE WORLD'S PROBLEMS ARE TOO OVERWHELMING AND TO INDULGE IN TRYING TO SOLVE THEM WOULD TAKE TOO MUCH FROM ME AND WOULDN'T YIELD THE KIND OF RESULTS THAT I WOULD WANT... I'M A LITTLE OCD ABOUT THINGS AND I KNOW THAT WHEN I START SOMETHING, I CAN'T STOP, SO SOLVING MY GRIEVANCES WITH THE WORLD IS ONE BATTLE THAT I WON'T START... I JUST CONCENTRATE ON BEING NICE TO PEOPLE AND HAVING A GOOD TIME, AS MUCH AS I CAN...

I understand what you mean...Its up to you how you want to live your life. Unfortunately the world is the way it is and no matter how much we help - not to sound so pesimist - it will always be the same. There will always be starvation - animals going extinct - wars.
I am in to animal rights - I am not an extremist - but I do little things like help the spca/other shelters/ I would like to open my own shelter one day and am studying in school the field.
But I know no matter how much I do - it will help a little bit but there will always be some fucker abusing/killing/mistreating helpless animals.
With bums - I rarely give change. Maybe I am ignoring the situation - sucks for them but I still have a hard time feeling bad for them - we are lucky in MOntreal unlike a lot of other places and there are tons of programs to get u back on your feet - unless u were an ex mental patient released from mental institutes that closed down...that sucks. There is only so much we can do.

THANK YOU. Im studying animal behaviour and care/sciences and from what I learnt huskies/alaskan malamutes absolutely LOVE IT. Its in their blood. No brainwashing from when born. I know what I am talkign about...some people are very extremist and dont really get their facts straight when it comes to animals...ehehe they think anything is cruel...hehehe

Drumnbreast your dog is sooooooooo gorgeous...I LOOOOVEEEEE huskies. One of my fav. We have the cutest alaskan malamute up for adoption @ the spca..he needs a special home - VERY energetic..and BIG...lol He doesnt know his own size.
I have a husky/samoyed...she lives with my mom now cuz my landlord doesnt allow dogs..but she is very happy:)

I agree. I think men have a lot of pressure on themselves. I mean of course they have their faults too - no one is perfect. But I really feel sorry for men. Men cant express their emotions/feelings because if they do they are either "gay" or a "wuss" or "not man enough" for their girlfriend or friends. Sure - as a woman - I dont really like it when men cry - once in a while is normal and cute..but all the time over every little thing- noooo. But when women cry its totally natural and the man has to run to her feet and give her all the attention in the world because the poor little princess is crying.
We will generalize/categorize no matter what we do - its in our nature.
However I believe men have a lot more pressure on them than women. There are much more charges of psychological abuse on women from men than there are physical abuse charges on men from women. Women can be very coniving and sneaky - there are more cases of women cheating on men as well.
But in our society these cases arent really shown so no matter what the man is the asshole/cheater/liar usually. Its his fault if the girl cheats but its never the girls fault if the guy cheats. And so on.
I love women too I dont mean to bash women too much on here but I just think men have a lot of shit on their shoulders.
Anyways i have no idea what IM saying...Im so bored.

a lot of the bums were released from mental institutes because Quebec closed a lot of them down - and set them free on the streets. These people need serious help - maybe thats why they are so picky..they are human like all of us. But need special attention - aside fro mthe squeegee punks maybe....

I toootally know what you mean. I have had plenty of friends like that..in fact I think ALL I had were friends like that back in the day...its HARRD...seeing bright people fuck themselves up.
But when it comes down to them taking advantage of you...fuck it man. I had this friend who pretty much showed up at my doorstep - just got out of rehab - asked to crash with us a few days...ate all our food turned the place upside down...I got them a job - quit after a few weeks - just didnt do anything...I was furious - dont want him in my life anymore.

I went through hell and back trying to help people..in the end it didnt do much - and i ended up stressing myself out and forgetting to take care of myself...its good to help but like moondancer said - maybe help isnt always the answer. sometimes a BIG hard shitty lesson can make a person change.

I watched this documentary on Montreal Squeegee punks etc on some french channel..I dont remember the name -I think it was called SPIT. Anyway it focused mostly on this one dude, who admitted to using the money he makes to shoot up etc. He also talked a lot about how shitty his life was @ home - being beaten/abused etc. Most of his friends same situation. Those kids just dont appear magically on the streets because its cool. Unless you are as stupid as the idiot who shot down Dawson last month. Now he was a dumbass with no life that just wanted to be cool.
However I DO agree that people can make the best out of their life if they really wanted it. I know you are raised a certain way and it all comes with self esteem/confidence/intelligence/education - but there is welfare - step 1 to get off the streets - and welfare comes with education programs/job banks to help people get off it and get their lives together and so on. Also there are TONS of programs/courses you can take for really cheap @ Dawson/Concordia with NO educational back ground needed - even free courses offered at the YMCA and so on.
SO these kids who had/have it hard can do something but they choose that life - and yes when other idiots "trying to help" them makes their lives a little easier, gives them less of a PUSH to change. I dunno but I cant even afford all the clothes and hair dye they buy. Even with immigrants living around my area - everyone is so pissed and sad and depressed all the time because I am guessing they are "poor" and dont have a lot of education and work shitty jobs - fuck go do something about it!!! YOu can buy decent clothes at Village Des Valeurs to make a nice outfit for an interview...get a cheap hair cut..some make up is cheap...know what I mean? THey should Stop spending all their fucking free time in churches praying to God - expecting him (or her...or it) to fix everything.
Sorry for the long bitching;)

eat really well - ie. 3-4 meals a day (since u are tall) that inc. lots of veggies+fruit, pastas, fish, eggs, rice. Try to eat more brown rice/bread/pasta.
Excersize a lot - Easy excersizes since u are ill - like speed walking or easy yoga. Weed just makes u more sick and paranoid - not good advice - sorry! I used to have anxiety probs and they developed only after I started smoking a LOT of weed for a long time. Now I hardly smoke and when i do its chill. No more anxiety probs. I also got a lot of anxiety when i was really stressed - when u are sick already its easy to be nervous all the time.

HAH. Bisexuality is such a trend. I think women just love teasing men by checking out other women or by making out with a women while drunk. Then when it comes down to actually fucking another woman they chicken out. Pfft;)
I consider myself straight - with my man - love of my life. But I have had girlfriends in the past and it was a lovely experience - not one I would do again because women are just too complicated - I feel bad for men.

This is a superficial thread man.lol
But this is my oppinion:
Curves are sexy as hell. I usually check out girls that have some chub and an ASS. IM sorry but ribs and sticking out pelvic bones are gross.
I consider myself to be curvey with a bit of chub. I'm also 5'10. However most of my fat is in my ass which sucks..would like bigger boobs but whaetevr I accept myself and am happy overall. I think being healthy is the most important. Look up your facts. Eat well - work out regularly. Check your blood pressure/heart once in a while. Get blood tests. Make sure u are getting everything u need.
My BMI right now is 26. My trainer said its better to be 26 than 19. The normal range is 20-25. I am a bit above. But its ok because I work out all the time and eat really well.
Another thing: Its rare, but if a woman weighs more than her man - doesnt mean its a bad thing. 10-15 lbs more isnt bad. more than that - she has a prob. But women generally have more body fat than men. Also going by lbs isnt good either. Me I lost 5 inches and 2% body fat in 3 months - gained a lot of muscle..but I didnt lose much weight..2-3 lbs?
SO if a girl weighs more it can mean she has more fat (we have hips u know) or she is big boned - more muscle.
It is really unhealthy to be obese. Hygene is a big prob and sex is terrible. Its unhealthy and if u are with someone who is obese help them lose the weight. Dont eat junk in front of them , go jogging with them etc. They need your support.
