What you're looking at is the 8-foot wide, 4-foot tall, $30,000 iNuke Boom iPod dock from Behringer. At over 700 pounds and pumping out an inhumane 10,000 watts of deafening audio, the iNuke Boom is ready for its big public debut at the gadget circus that we call CES in January. We just hope that Everki shows up with that giant backpack from 2010's expo so we can lug home a review unit. Behringer will also be unveiling around 50 new products under its new consumer electronics sub-brand, Eurosound. As i see you guys are talking about 'new instruments' and stuff like that, I feel obliged to point you to this :
'ISAM' - Full album with track-by-track commentary from Amon Tobin

This is 3 month old but really is the future of music for me..
The comment bar is crowded but he is showing a bit of how he approached the conception of the album, and that is really interesting I think..

Here is a few quotes:

@2.20: I didn't want to use any drums in this album. this section required it though. they are still not "real drums" which satisfied at least in part my desire to make an album of 'made up' instruments that don't exist in the real world.

@15.46: these strings are acoustic modeled synth played from the continuum fingerboard. there are no samples on this album.

@26.16: I love the idea of playing futuristic non existent instruments built a high level of detail in their construction but playing them actually quite badly : )


BTW if you actually enjoy this sound and missed ISAM premiere at metropolis a few month ago, I feel sorry for you.. best show in years ! that was (again) some next level performance !

Regarding the subgenre, i agree with the dirtier sound for hardcore, but i would classify hardtek as generally slower, and tribe to be the stuff with a higher tempo.. but its just how i perceive it and the hardtek/hardcore sound i refer to 5/10 years old.. Anyway i'm not gonna argue about this at bootcamp and just dance !!

Oh and by the way, hardstyle and happy hardcore is not hardcore, its just gay ! (imo)

Sur ektoplazm y'a cybernetika qui a fait un album dnb inspiré de psy qui est bien cool, mais pas tellement neurofunk..

A part ça le site est énooorme et plein de features super cools bien qu'un peu cachés.. ça demande des essais avant de comprendre comment les choses qui sont déjà là marchent.. I’ve played the Iphone version only and the Wii version looks waaayy nicer. Maybe it’s longer as well.. On Iphone I played half the level already and it seems a bit short, but if you replay it for highscores or just because you are stoned i guess it’s worth it.
