If a "normal" individual sees you doing hard drugs in a public setting, they're going to assume your a junkie lowlife and need your fix that badly and will thus treat you accordingly.

I don't know your friend and can't call him an uneducated moron or whatever, but in this situation he did something stupid and got caught. And although me and you believe the consequences don't match the crime; and we're probably right, your friend has to comet to terms with the fact that he fucked up and should be more discreet next time. There are dumb aggressive people waiting to beat you up everywhere; Montreal is pretty chill but you still gotta be careful.

The Virus C has 6 Outputs (3 paired) and has the multi function too, but unlike the Ti it doesn't do so in the software realm, so you'll have to connect the outputs back via your interface or mixer. However I've worked with both synths quite a bit and I for some reason prefer the sound on the Virus C. It just sounds a lot grittier to me.

But screw it, in my opinion it's not really worth it I'd prefer to just layer the individual parts in my daw.

Shit well the party is coming up soon. You told me yourself Ugo that you can't really stop anybody from throwing a party, unless you do something like offer the owner more money for exclusivity, but that's pretty gay.

My two cents:

If you grab thundershowers on Saturday, maybe you could consider using des carrieres. You'll probably get a good deal on it due to it's situation, and the thunder and rain could help mask the sound. Just be conservative with the bass and keep people inside and you might get lucky. Worst case cut the neighbors phone lines so they can't call the cops.

Otherwise I'm sure you could work something out on st.patrick.

If it looks like it might get nice (I'm sure it'll be warm) find a cool place outdoors and put up tarps. Fuck it, it's a free party anyways, and jamming in the woods is fun.

If you want I know of 2-3 abandoned buildings you could use. You'll need generators. PM me.

Alright time to finally get around to this.

After a few days of rest I can now say that Double Dragon was a great success! I'm still surprised with the turn-out!

First off I have to thank everyone who helped out to make the event what it was. It took a pretty big team to pull off everything we had there. Thanks, you guys all know who you are.

Thanks to Andre and his sound tech for the sound. It was definitely kick ass!

Another special thanks goes out to all the live acts. Everyone's sets were top notch. I was even surprised myself with the quality of music coming out of Montreal. Big ups to all of you, you kept the dance floor jamming till 6-7 in the morning.

And finally a big thanks go everyone who showed up. You guys made the party what it was. Great vibes from all. Hearing people yell and cheer during your live set is a feeling that's very hard to describe, thanks everyone.

The success of this event is definitely making us consider throwing another one! Stay Tuned.

BTW if anyone has pictures of the event I'd love to get my hands on them, I know their out there; I saw all those cameras flashing! Thanks.

Alright guys, I've been up for close to 24 hours now getting shit ready, and all I can say is that this is gonna be one hell of a party! We're going to completely transform a brand new venue!

Speaking of Venue, it's going to be taking place at 3810 St.Patrick, but in a new loft (technically 2 new lofts) on the 1st floor. The entrance is also going to be on the back east side of the building, facing downtown.
