It was no ones place to pass jugement nor is it anyones role to dish out punishment, whatever the outcome. This isnt tribal Africa.

That thread is an embarassement. I would be so eger to pat myself on the back for guessing the outcome.

That kid will get what he desirves without the help of [ rave.ca ]

People werent arguing with what screwhead was saying. I, for instance, was making the point that it was best to reserve judgement, one way or the other. All we knew was that this kid was at the wheel when the girl he really liked died due to his actions, voluntary or non-voluntary. So we should console him for his loss because whether he was at fault or not, he probably felt like shit. I couldnt even imagine what he must have felt like, expecially if he was in love with this girl. At the time, speculating about what happened, was uncalled for.

Even now, Im not going to judge the kid. Go ahead if you want to. I did pretty stupid things with a car when I was his age. Im pretty sure we all have. He just got unlucky. It could have been me. It could have been you.

If it means anything, I remember my phsyics teacher telling me about a case he was a juror forwhere a high school kid got his gf killed in a motorcycle accident cuz he was going well over the speed limit. Some people wanted to give the kid murder II, while others wanted to give him non-guilty. The conclusion of the case:

1) Gave found him guilty of criminal or veichlular negligence causing death.
2) He got it deferred until after he finished high school (he was in grade 12)
3) The prison term was 2 years, but it was known that he would probably get out in 1.
Obviously this is different cuz DJ Wood is making it worse for himself with the death threats and the lying.

So yeah; thats probably where this is going. He'll either get 7 years or 1 year. And I cant see 12 jurors wanting to give him 7; he's just a dumb kid. And he's going to feel guilty for the rest of his life. This is just a sad situation; everybody loses.
I'm feeling a message in a bottl right now..

Ha so I guess he really was DJ Turbo

But for real, you've got to be fucking dumb to go 150kmh on Gouin especially in the winter. Just a few days ago I was going about 65-70 on the street and I let off the gas because it was getting tight.

For those that don't know Guoin is right along the guoin river that seperates montreal and laval. It's basically a 2 lane street with oncoming traffic. The street is tight and twisty considering it borders a river. There are very few lights, mostly stops which are a bitch because people always come out far to see if traffic comes and because the roads are twisty. And the roads themselves are just in shitty condition, like pot-holes and "bumps" everywhere.
I'm feeling wtf charles? right now..

Everyone makes mistakes - especially when young, some of them tragic. It is how you deal with them that determine what type of person you will be. This was a horrible event which was made worse with lies not only concerning the event but the girl and her family. Driving at 126 km/h minimum is a far cry from 40 on Gouin, you could have an accident on your bicycle going too fast in that area. Her family had to endure a steady campaign of bullshit for several months. The truth only needs to be told once. Lies on the other hand are like any fabrication - they fall apart eventually and constantly require more lies to keep them standing.

Hopefully the younger members here can learn something from this. When it's time to man up you do it, take what comes and try to grow as a person.

Finally, she wasn't his girlfriend.

That was his other girlfriend at the time, DJ Wolf.

The girl that he killed was "his girlfriend" for "one week" and that's why "her best friends didn't know about us yet"

Wow. I just read this thread & this guy seriously is a complete idiot.

1st off, most girls in their teens go and tell their best friends right away if they're going out with someone. He either seriously wishes they were going out too the point where he resorts to lieing about it after she's dead.. (lame & pathetic... -_-') He most likely lied because it took him like what? more than half a year before he actualy ADMITTED beause of the evidence they had against him.

He probly only pleaded guilty cause he had his back up agaisnt a wall..

yup. I think he's still 17 for a short while, so if he plays his cards right he'll get treated as a minor; slap on the wrists, a while in juvie, maybe a restriction of some sort on when he's allowed to drive, and a wiped record once he hits 18.

Yeah. But judging by his actions here and elsewhere, one can hope his sentence forces him to take anger management classes.

And a 10 year driver's license suspension.

* sigh *. I wish this judicial system wasn't such a fucking joke.

-Judging by what you're saying, he's done other things to fuck up, or everyone just knows he's going to screw up again after he's 18. right?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think he's had to take anger management lessons/therapy/whatever before, and from his posting on here he just really came off as someone that wasn't too bright and with very little self control; he'd often fly off the handle pissed off every time someone would disagree with him..

Heh. Those are always the one who get busted. Multiple times.

Anywho, let's see if Mr.Dim-I-Drive-Without-A-Real-Lisence-And-Speed-On-A-Narrow-Winter-Street could man up and take the consequences for all his actions without pulling a hissy fit.

This should be a very intresting outcome.

Keep us posted YogSothogh :)
