DJ WOOD ! on dit "dying" pas "dieing" et "scene" pas "since" Apres toute la scene rave est pas en rtain de mourrir !!! Evidemment, les choses changent. Je sais pas c'etait comment "dans l'temps" mais d'après moi les styles se multiplient sans cesse séparant la "scene RAVE" en plusieurs scnènes différentes, des plus underground (NTK, etc) au plus commerciales ( BlackNBlue, Tiesto au centre bell, etc). Mais de la a dire que ca meurt il faut chercher très loin... juste sur le site ici ya un "RAVE" ou bedon un party pratiquement toute les semaine et une tonne d'autres évènements. Et pi quand meme qui aurait que 10 "RAVE" par année ca serait peut-être meme mieux comme ca, c pas toujours bon de faire la fete toutes les fins de semaines... Mes 2cennes |

the rave scene isn't dying... IT'S BEEN DEAD FOR YEARS!!! to deny this is foolish. what lives on is DANCE MUSIC and that will live as long as humans have ears to listen and feet to dance on. goin' out dancing all night to techno isn't really much different than what your parents were probably doing in the 70's during the disco era. personaly i think the "rave" label is simply that... a label... the mark of an era. saying the rave scene is dead in the new millenium is just like ppl saying that disco was dead in the 80's when up comming genres like nu wave , hip hop ect. were picking up where it left off... just like a the rave scene picked up with a whole slew of genres from the dance partys in the early 90's and genres like electro-house and nu rave seem to be following suit in the modern day. times change... sounds evolve... ppl evolve. but history has a tendancy to repeat it self. this is fact. if you feel labeling yourself a "raver" helps you feel like you fit in somewhere and gives you some sort of identity... go with it!! more power to you!! just don't expect everyone to be as simple minded (and perhaps nieve?) as yourself. one day you may even find yourself moving on to something new and ragging on the same things that once gave you your sense of identity... and who knows... maybe one day after that you might even say... "oh thats what that OLD GUY was talking about." i think thats just part of the evolution and "growing up" anybody know how that famous quote goes? something like... "when i was young i thought i knew everything... now that i'm old i realise that i know nothing?" anyway... back to my original point... STFU HOMOS!!!
