Apple doesn't have gold-plated hardware built in space by NASA engineers, they're built in chinese factories like every other piece of computer hardware out there. Just check out the iPhone building company Foxconn and tell me they use superior manufacturing techniques to insure better device longevity.

Coolness: 201205	27 inch IPS monitor with 2560x1440 resolution. Apple sells the monitor for 1000$ on its own and dell's equivalent is 1100$. It's not a 300$ TN screen with 18-bit colour. My only problem with this setup is Apple's huge markup on ssds and the fact the system is fucking hard to tear down and upgrade (except the ram). Seriously you guys could have spent 3 seconds checking the specs instead of writing paragraphs of anti-apple diatribe. Don't tell me a 2560x1440 IPS display is the same thing as a 1920x1080 TN screen.

Coolness: 103235	you can still get a very decent powerful mac desktop without all the bullshi and flare. Last I checked it was called a mac mini
