I lived on the corner of st cathrine and prefontaine and I had a hard time making it anywhere without someone following me or trying to get me in their car. (Or on thier bicycle, lol.) A lot of crack heads and shit there, too. And way too many hookers. I used to see clothing, condoms, spoons, and needles all the time on the street. And the hookers used to hang out on my front step.
I live in the village now, i like it. But there are a lot of bums and sketch drug dealers here. Someone tries to sell me speed every time I walk to berri. But it's not very dangerous. Someone got shot at the McDonalds a little while ago, but I'm sure it was over drugs. Just don't talk to the druggies around here and you're safe. |

 Coolness: 48675 | My first place in Hochelaga was an old loft in a factory. Basically a crackhouse. I remember coming home one morning, to find a naked girl in my appartment, who had been shooting heroin for the whole night.
I never understood how she got inside... My 2nd place, Got into a fight with my neighbor after a few days because I told him to stop beating his girlfriend, He came to knock at my door with a machete in his left hand. Told him to fuck off and never heard of him again. My 3rd and last place in Hochelaga ? Well after about 3-4 months, a (criminal) fire caught in the back building and the whole place was razed. Lost all my stuff ! This neighborhood sucks. Avoid it like plague. It's not really dangerous, it just sucks ! Now I live in Nova Scotia and the most crime you'll run into is someone asking you for weed... |

Doesn't matter where you move to, shit just happens. Sketchy people are everywhere. I thought I live in a good area. But last Friday, some guy got shot in the leg at a Halloween party. Last year, after Christmas I think, a man with links to the Mafia got gunned down. Both were on the street that I walked down to just to go to the depanneur. |
