comment: mehh. A jumble of interesting ideas with no quality controll to weed out the good from the bad. recommend?: Better than the original AVP, if only for the fact that they don't show any mercy and kill a LOT of people that you wouldn't expect them to kill. |

comment: The "Blair Witch Project" like camera gives the viewer more headache than a sledgehammer to the head, but the story is not bad recommend?: I would recommend to see it on DVD where the bad focus and shacking camera will not be as annoying as for the storie...I am not going to spoil it if you want to go see the movie |

 Coolness: 86825 | Just saw Cloverfield last night.
It was pure crap, the acting was crap the CGI was poor at it's best, after parking, gas, tickets, popcorn, drinks and the shit seats in the theater it was a huge waste of money and time. It's the first time I have ever heard an entire theater full of people boo at the end of a film. Today I went out and purchased and watched a copy of Godzilla from Tristar pictures.. Godzilla is a much better film, one with real actors - real action you can see - a great plot and build - Godzilla was one jaw dropping scene after another and it never lost it's momentum. Godzilla earned my respect. CLOVERFIELD was shit. Save your money people, download it if you want to see it. and if you want to see a truly great monster movie Godzilla, Alien or perhaps the first Jurassic Park are still the best you can get. |

A-fucking-mazing! Loved everything about it. Costumes, make-up, sets are dark and beautiful. Loved the songs, loved the story (even if I felt like I had seen this story often, still it had something special to it) and most of all, Johnny Depp is even sexier when coverd in blood (Menoum!). I'm a Bruton fanatic, and this was one of his best for me. He tried somthing new and that not most people like (mucical) and succeded once again. I would recommend it ONLY if you like musical, or unusual movie. Or have a Depp or Burton fetish (like me :p). |

HAHAHAHAHAHA holy fuck this was a funny movie. It was obviously dubbed, and it seems like the script for the dubbing was worked out by a diffrent person every 5 minutes with no reference to what the previous person had translated. From what I gather; bunch of friends go out on the ocean in a rubber raft. They run out of gas and can't get back, and then it starts raining. The find an abandoned ship and look around, finding no-one on board but a weird lab with bizzare fish. They have supper and party. A girl gets sick and pukes bugs and green slime. Something about a scientist that works on the boat in the lab has a fish-fetish and dreams of geneticaly engineering fish-women to be sex-slaves. People start mutating because the fish they ate for supper had ingested radioactive plankton. Totally amazing. |
