WTF DUDE this law is great and its about time they get it on.... I'm glad the law is passing for you... but please don't insinuate that raves should also follow the rule. Since when do the things that happen IN the raves have anything to do with laws and regulations (unfortunately). I can assure you that I'll be smoking in a rave after the 31st and won't mind telling off a dude that comes up to me and say that I shouldn't smoke in the party… especially if that dude is almost eating his entire cheeks/lips off. Hypocrites. |

well, if the venue isn't allowed to let people smoke in (public area), the parties hold in it will have to be smoke free. It's the same for After hours and shits.

well I wouldn't worry about smoking laws in regards to raves, since the law never had much effect on the open cannibis, smack, crack, meth, k, cocaine, speed, E, acid, mushroom, pcp, blah blah usage in the party scene |

I hope this applies to afterhours too. I quit smoking for that reason. But still, everytime I come back from one, I feel like a full ashtray. |

If your rave is in a private loft, no problem with the smoking ban. If it is in a "public" bukliding, watch out. whatever, y'all will learn that if you can't smoke ya won't smoke, and it won't be the end of the world. |

This is IMO such a good thing. I am smoking and I must admit even if it's sometimes pleasant, it doesn't bring much to my life. Quebec tryed some [minor] strategies to encourage people to stop smoking but it still seems not enough so they've put us in front of a situation that removes a little bit of individual liberty but for a collective smoke freedom which sounds good in a long run. At first, many won't find it easy but life will go on as human are highly adaptable :) |

i think this law is discriminating, i as a paying fucking customer have a fucken rite to smoke when and where the fuck i want.
Except hospitals etc, but wtf where r my rights. Theres more important issues that should be dealt with. Its pure B fuckin S! |

OK maybe people you'll hate me all for saying this.I'M working in a bar and i swear when everyone is around me and they all lighting up their smokes it so suffocating.I understand your right as customers, but you should understand our right to smell good when we come back home .By the way you could smoke in the terrace! What do you want more? And maybe if smokers know how to smoke( like not burning the carpet or the pool table) maybe i would have more respect.By the way my point is you have the right to smoke but i have the right to have better job conditions.ANd 100 ashtrays less to clean isssss so nice;) heaheaheahhae |
