I watched every game except for 3-4. Didn't cheer for anyone. But this....

The World CUP is Earth most popular/watched sport with the worst refereeing in ALL of professional team sports. FIFA needs to bring in better training, technologies, and make the referees DNA hybrid with super eye vision hawks.

Tennis has 2 players with like what 1 to 9 Line Umpires with a chair Umpire. Football/Soccer has 22 players with 4 officials in a very huge area.

I would do a social experiment.

Make a prison cell room out of meat with no door or windows, and put in some Vegans. Give them nothing but water for days. Wait and see what happens.

Germany played like shit vs Spain.

now, Oracle Paul, the psychic octopus, picked Spain to win vs Holland. Yes he picks the winner, he doesn't predict. He decides and what he decides, the Universe bend to his will. Space and time manipulated by his tentacles.

In Vitro Habitat: a House Made of Meat!
by Andrew Michler, 07/08/10

We’ve waxed lyrical about botanical walls, green roofs and living treehouses on Inhabitat for years – is the next logical step a home made from animal tissue? Mitchell Joachim from Terreform thinks so.

From the boundary-pushing team of archi-visionaries who brought us the fabulous Fab Tree Hab comes a new (and somewhat disgusting) way to grow a structure — using animal flesh! The In Vitro Meat Habitat is a futuristic concept home composed of meat cells grown in a lab. We can’t imagine that these residences are going be replacing suburban tract homes anytime soon, but it sure is a provocative idea! The creator of the concept, Mitchell Joachim, is a futurist with a twist– he says he is actually developing the concept in a lab.

Before you start crafting your protest signs, Dr. Joachim explains “It is intended to be a ‘victimless shelter’, because no sentient being was harmed in the laboratory growth of the skin.” He envisions a wall in which tissues, skin and bones replace insulation, siding, and studs respectively. For fenestration, or openings of windows and doors, he envisions sphincter muscles that can open and close. Current prototypes are pig skin cells grown around a recycled PET plastic scaffold.

Dr. Joachin admits that the home is not all that pretty, but his work in exploring radical new ways to create futuristic buildings is a provocative reminder that sustainability requires a radical new vision of our cities and homes.

I hate it when you watch the entire game, but football/soccer don't have commercials. So you just leave for 2 minutes to get a drink or piss, and a team SCORES!!

BTW, I don't think we will see the Spanish Ref of the German-Serbia game. He was handing yellows like they were candies.

yep. I got a extended Warranty from Best Buy too. But they say I have to send it to Sony first. Something about Sony need to "open" the PS3 first and have a look at it. November '09, so I still got time.

After 1 year, Best Buy can look at it.

freezing issues. And by turning off my PS3 while frozen/crashed too many times, i think it fucked my PS3 HD. I had trouble with GTA IV also. Now it's making a weird noise. Either I'm out of thermal paste, or something. When I restored back up data, and turn it on again, it says something along the lines of corrupt hard drive, must format. Endless vicious cycle. My PS3 slim is less than a year old.

yeah it is, but hold on. RDR is just too much and it crashed way too many times. My HD is corrupted so I don't know if my backup data is there or working. Let me check my PS3 (it's in a box, I have to plug everything back). But my Golden Guns should be still there, and the extra one should be available.

I just didn't fuck around with the PS3 (was going to send it to Sony, or format it for the Nth time) 'cause I'm watching the World Cup. Also waiting for Rockstar patch(es).

World Cup = stop all other leisure activities, which also means I didn't check out news from E3.

YYESSSS please MAKE IT SO!! BAN from STADIUMS.

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa, June 13 (UPI) -- South Africa's World Cup chief Danny Jordaan says he might ban the high-pitched horn-like instruments called vuvuzelas from inside the soccer stadiums.

Broadcasters and soccer players have been complaining that the constant noise from the vuvuzelas is harming the atmosphere of the games, the BBC reported Sunday.

Jordaan told the BBC if there are grounds to ban vuvuzelas he would consider doing so.

"We have asked for no vuvuzelas during national anthems or stadium announcements," he said. "It's difficult but we're trying to manage the best we can."

The captain of the French team, Patrice Evra, has blamed the noise generated by the long plastic vuvuzelas for his side's poor showing in their opening group game against Uruguay.

"We can't sleep at night because of the vuvuzelas," Evra said. "People start playing them from 6 a.m."

I think it's just a very rare circumstance. Some people just don't mix well with any type of drugs, legal or not, and this is an extreme case. I do tend to agree that Wyatt wasn't right in the head before the tea.

A mixed martial arts fighter has been charged with murder after allegedly ripping out the heart and cutting off the tongue and face of his sparring partner -- all reportedly while the victim was alive. A California judge upheld the murder charges Friday, as well as charges of aggravated mayhem and torture, against Jarrod Wyatt in the death of Taylor Powell.

Wyatt and his attorney are saying he was tripping on drugs when he committed the act. The details are gruesome and the reasons behind the March 21 death are bizarre.

Beware, this story is graphic.

Police say that Wyatt, 26, was under the influence of psychedelic drugs when he and Powell became convinced that the end of the world was coming. The two allegedly thought that God and the devil had possessed Wyatt and Powell for a final battle between good and evil, according to the Times-Standard of Eureka, Calif.

Police were called to the house by a third friend who reported a stabbing. Sgt. Elwood Lee said he entered the house to find a man, later identified as Wyatt, naked and covered from head to toe in dried blood. He was standing over a body.

Lee cuffed Wyatt (pictured in his one MMA fight) and then examined the body on the couch.

Most of the face had been removed and Lee noticed an 18-inch hole in the body's chest and the heart missing. ”At one point,” Lee said in testimony Friday, “(Wyatt) asked if we were God, or if we were God coming to save him.”

Officers also took Wyatt's ex-girlfriend, Billy Jo Bailey, into custody. She was found in a bedroom. The witness, Davis, said he had been at the house earlier, left and returned to get his dog. That's when he saw one man straddling another threatening to cut off his tattoos. While in custody, Wyatt said that he, Davis and Powell had drank mushroom tea earlier in the night.

Wyatt said that when Davis went to leave the first time, he tried to stop him because he was concerned a tidal wave was coming. Wyatt then admitted that he'd cut out Powell's heart, cut off his tongue and removed his eyes. He then cooked the body parts in a wood stove because he was tormented by spirits.

He told police that he burned Powell's heart because he feared Powell was still alive and he was trying to stop the devil. The coroner's report showed that Wyatt removed the heart while Powell was still alive. Wyatt said that Powell had told him that the end of days were coming. Wyatt said the Powell then put him in a chokehold.

"Satan was in that dude," Wyatt said, according to police.

Powell continued to hold Wyatt and got him to the ground. Wyatt told authorities that he was able to get Powell off of him and then began to dissect him. The ex-girlfriend later testified that she saw Powell on top of Wyatt, spitting on him.

Lee said that he did not believe Wyatt was under the influence of a hallucinogen. He said the ex-girlfriend appeared to be under the influence when she told police that Wyatt was mad at her and taking it out on Powell. Bailey, the ex, said that Powell's mood changed drastically from the time they first met earlier in the evening at a nearby bar to after they drank the mushroom tea.

"He said, 'You want to f'ing die' three times," Bailey said.

The defense will come down to premeditation. Did Wyatt plan this attack or was it the result of a drug trip? Wyatt's attorney said Friday that the acts were all a result of the mushroom tea. He said that Wyatt began to hit Powell when he noticed Powell putting pressure on Bailey's legs while on the couch.

”My client was trying to silence the devil,” attorney James Fallman said, according to the Times-Standard.

The judge said Friday that there was no evidence to support a psychedelic break. The prosecution said the act of mutilating Powell's body showed intent and the removal of body parts showed extreme, callous indifference, according to the Times-Standard. Wyatt's trial date has not been set.
