Ok...so:

basdini likes the burgers
the_pink_popo likes the milk shakes and chicken mcnuggets
DynV likes the muffins and tea and turnovers
Gamos likes the fries, mcflurries, dollar sodas, the coffee, and the junior chickens

So really, McDonalds caters to a diversity of people. Theres something for everyone. As I said, PLUR.

Say what you will about Mcdonalds food; however, you can't argue with their ability to keep it real. For example, take this quote from Jim Skinner (Mcdonalds CEO): "[consumers are getting] pinched everywhere. They will not suffer the same fate at McDonald’s.”

Hell yah Jim Skinner. Mcdonalds, always fighting for the little guy. If thats not PLUR, I dunno what is.

1) Coincidence 1: So I decide to go for a walk along a bike path in my adidas t-shirt and shoes, and run into some drunk guys wearing adidas track suits

2) Coincidence 2: One of the guys approach me, and talks to me about voting and how its cool Im wearing adidas. I explain to him why voting is stupid and why adidas is awesome, at which point, we get into a debate. At some point, I realize he's a guy from the HR department where I work. We went to a party together and a concert together through mutual friends.

3) Coincidence 3: He remembers me as well, and invites me to have a beer with them. I agree. 30 seconds after I track open the beer, my manager walks by us. My direct manager. His look is one of disgust. Drinking on a friday in public.

4) Coincidence 4: One hour later, we're talking about visibility minorities where I work. The guy I work with mentions a guy who is dating my ex girl friend. 20 minutes later, that same guy runs by.

5) Coincidence 5: We decide to go to the bar together. The guy invites my ex-girlfirend thinking she's still interested in me (without telling me). She shows up with boyfriend (The guy from the canal).

Coincidence or fate?

They might dislike liberals in power, but they would hate the NDP is power. And that makes me smile.

You know the people in motorized wheel chairs. When theyre behind you, they tell you to get out of the way. WHen theyre going the opposite way from you, they just go at 20 km/hr in the middle of the sidewalk, and expect you to move out of the way for them...

So I ask...What the fuck is wrong with these people? Its blatently inconsiderate. They know if they hit you, they'll hurt you. They know you only walk 5km/hr. They know that for every one of them theres 10000 pedestrians. And yet theyre so fucking incosniderate.

These people don't do anything for society, probably cost taxpayers a fortune, and don't even have the decency to go at a normal speed? Its such bullshit. WHere are they in such a hurry to get to? I'd vote conservative if they ran on a platform to put speed limits on these wheel chairs or cut off health care for these assholes.

Why are motorized wheel chairs even allowed to go that fast? And why aren't they required to pass a test where people explian to these retards what is an appropriat speed, and what is not. Honestly, these people should use their wheel chairs on the road and let motorists deal with them.

I should really just avoid clubs, girls, and generally any situation where theres lots of social interaction mixed with a lot of action. Its funny how whenever I try and go for the one thing I want (a connection), I end up getting depressed. Because at the end of the day, who wants to be with someone so fucked up? No one.

I'm more amazed at how imcompetant the conservatives are. Look at this one...

Canadian Arab Federation president Khaled Mouamar received an email late Tuesday from a Conservative campaign staffer for the Etobicoke Centre riding asking "representation from the Arab community" for a Thursday visit from Stephen Harper.

"Do you have any cultural groups that would like to participate by having someone at the event in an ethnic costume? We are seeking one or two people from your community," the email signed by Zeljko 'Zed' Zidaric said. "The opportunity is to have up to 20 people in national folklore costumes which represent their ethnic backgrounds," the email said.

Mouamar compared the photo-op to asking people to come to "a Halloween party."

Justice Donald Taliano gave Ottawa until July to fix the federal medical marijuana program or face the prospect of effectively legalizing possession and production of cannabis.

In a ruling released earlier this week, Taliano found the program to be unconstitutional because sick people cannot get access to medical marijuana through appropriate means and must resort to illegal actions such as growing their own supply.

As a result, ill people who should be able to get the drugs are branded as criminals, he said in the decision.

The St. Catharines justice declared the program to be invalid, as well as the laws prohibiting possession and production of cannabis, since they can be used to criminally charge medical users unable to get the drugs through legal avenues.

On the subject of G8/G20 security costs, the Conservatives' report quotes Sheila Fraser giving high marks to the Harper government for prudent spending on the summits. The report quoted the auditor general as saying: “We found that the processes and controls around that were very good, and that the monies were spent as they were intended to be spent.”

But in a scathing letter addressed to members of a Commons committee on Friday, Shelia Fraser said the quote had nothing to do with the summits. Instead, she said, the Conservatives inserted a 2010 comment she made during a CBC News interview on security spending by a previous Liberal government after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

“The comments attributed to me in the [Conservative] report are completely unrelated to G8/G20 spending,” Fraser writes in her letter. “I would appreciate it if the report could be modified as it is clearly erroneous.”

I've never lost anyone, thankfully.

But i have a situation that is also affecting my life outlook. Its leading me to understand that life is short. And its pecious. You should make the most out of it, and really work to turn it into what you want to be - I want to be surrounded by people I love, who love me back, doing things I really enjoy doing. But, I'm learning how easy it is to accept unhappiness or discontent because people tell you how lucky you are to have something, or because its easy thing to do.

Provincial officials are promising to conduct a thorough review of a private zoo northeast of Calgary after evidence surfaced that animals are being mistreated there.

Photos taken last week by a visitor to the Guzoo Animal Farm near Three Hills, Alta., were posted on Facebook. The pictures purport to show several animals living in dirty, unsuitable pens. Some of the animals appear to be in distress.

Several groups on Facebook and other websites are calling on the province to close the facility, which is up for an operating licence review on April 1.

But the complaints are unfounded and nothing owner Lynn Gustafson hasn't heard before, he said.

"These kinds of people don't realize, by trying to stop what I'm doing, all they are doing is depriving some … child or adult … of enjoying themselves," he said.

I dunno. If you get the friend-zone, and there's chemistry, its only a matter of time ;)

I've come to realize that when girls don't want do the friend zone, its cuz they know they can't control themselves when there's chemistry...and they dont want to, so guess what? You're cut.

Guys on the other hand, are just clueless. They think its possible to actually just be friends. So they're like "yah friend zone! Awesome," and then you have another chance.

So...I'm curious to know how you feel about the subject of gifting.

If a friend was to give you a gift, would you feel obliged to give one back? Does it depend on the person?

Have you ever recieved a gift that felt like charity? What differentiates one from the other for you?

If a gift is extravigent or expensive, do you feel bad for accepting it? Have you ever bought someone a lesser gift than you originally wanted because you didn't know how they would react to recieving a really expensive gift?

Can recieving a gift make you resent the gifter as a show-off or a do-gooder?

Do you need a reason or occassion for giving someone a gift?
