what VSTs do they use to create those dirty huge basses and what effects they usually smack on them? and how much layering they do to create one bass.

also could be interesting to know what's their favorite compressor for drums, sidechaining, and their favorite limiter. while we're there, could be nice to know what reverb they use too. =)

Also if you don't mind controlling your virus completely from the computer (which is very time efficient I find), check out the Virus TI Snow. It's the cheapest TI solution, at around 1000$US, and from the reviews I heard and read, it's definately a big upgrade to the earlier virus models.

oh i only use cubase and swear by it.

i just didn't make sense :)

there's just some kind of taboo or something about cubase that it's hard and complex, but really it only takes a few hours to know most of the main features. i think a lot of people are simply scared of messing around with it!

i might be slow, but I don't see what I said that's worth wowing about!
