I'm no expert but usually a good photographer's skill seems more recognized by his or her work behind the lens, not in front of it 75% of the time. Not only that but you want the medium you're photographing to be the center of attention of your pictures usually. By plastering your face in most of your shots, you're taking the focus away from your main subject ( unless you want it to be about you - even if partially - all the time ). As proof you attended this great event and you took all these pictures ? I mean, we KNOW you were there, you took the shots AND watermarked them. Who else could it be ? As visual proof you're able to talk to a crapload of beautiful people ( "look, I was able to talk to so many hot chicks, how else would they agree to have a picture taken with me" ) ? What's the purpose of this, really ? As a means to boosting low self esteem or just out of sheer pompousness ? Is it because you think you're photogenic enough to deserve be in most shots ? Aren't you afraid of sending out the wrong message in terms of the seriousness of your photographic talent ? Personally, the most beautiful rave-related photographs I've seen are ones were the photographer remains totally out of frame and anonymous. Maybe I'm way off, you tell me. |

Only time I'm in my pics is when someone asks to take a pic with me.
