I thought the sound was great in the psy room, the only thing that scared me was when the sound got fucked on the left side during Artifakt's set, but Spike fixed it right away.
I'm feeling knotty right now..

I could not even think about what happened that night until two days after, too much for my brain to comprehend, I'm still recovering actually xD. I was dead at the mountain after because of TOO MUCH EPIC! seeing artifact, hexa-5, Daksinamurti, and virtual light all up on stage at once at some point and I was right next to that much epic... I almost passed out xD

I had a blast cleaning up lmfao didn't even want to stop. loved the morning after with everyone laxing out on the mountain...even though I wanted to pass out and die because I lugged a cooler there -_-'. Had an amazing time in the dubstep room. for some reason the heat bothered me less in there then anywhere else. it may have been because I danced my bloody heart out! =D fucking wampa....... wtf dude?! skjdfhkjgbkadabhgkldfnhlkkd!!!! o_O

the people were great, the memories where priceless, can't wait till next time, I love you all! <3

^_^
I'm feeling still dead right now..

Not a matter of too much or not enough bass. Me and my friends instantly noticed that something was missing. I don't know a lot about sound quality and stuff, but I know when some frequencies are fucked or missing.

The sound was most probably fine, just the average person that thinks if the bass isn't totally smashing their face in it must be too low..
I'm feeling like a drama magnet right now..

Ok let me get this straight...

- Too much bass
- Not enough bass
- Missing frequencies
- Excruciating at times

Any other opposites?

I thought the sound in the dub-step room was too loud... It was fine in the beginning until people complained it was not loud enough and forced us to turn it up. I guess it's impossible to make everyone happy. Anyways, the sound will be used for all my events in the future so hopefully it will be tweaked for the majorities enjoyment...

In the psy room, there was too much limiting on the DBX unit right before the final output, even though there was lots of headroom on mixer. That causes the busier parts in tracks to over-compress (sound slightly smashed) and also make the quieter parts without bass to raise in volume. So it messes with the dynamic range of perfectly mastered tracks.. but it's not the end of the world. It was fixed later into the night. I didn't spend enough time in the dub room to make any judgement on it.

In the dub room, highs were too high. I was in for most of villify's set. And while I'm not saying my ears are the epic. a *LOT* of the stuff she played. To me the high end stuff was simply *cccczzzzzssssshhhhhhhhhhh* (ie: distorted beyond listening level).

That's my .02. And the same thought a LOT of people I talked too had.
I'm feeling ^^ right now..

^_^ <3 yay

lol I love how everyone argues about the sound, and while I'm at these parties I don't even pay attention to it cause I know nothing about sound besides the plain fact of it goes in my ear and makes me move around xD

I am of lesser greatness then you sound tech gods! I bow down to all you people who use so much of your time and intelligence to make these nights of absolute chaos possible for party people like me ^_^ much appreciated

I <3 you Sam :) You bring a LOT of light and happiness to raves. I'm glad we're friends. AND YOU TOOK OVER 200 PICS WITH MY CAMERA! ACROSS TWO OF MY CARDS! <_< Can't wait to see how many are on YOURS. Haha.

Was fun cleaning up with you as well, sorry my legs gave out on me though (also @Virtual Light, @Hexa-5 and @Nuclear, sorry) I would have continued if I'd not been so unbelievably dead. NEXT TIME! NEXT TIME!

Noah, calm down, I'm not saying your soundsystem sucks. Just saying something was wrong and that I don't know enough about sound to know what it was (that was wrong).

Vince probably know what it was more than me.

Screwhead > As I said, it's not a matter of the bass not being loud enough. I just couldn't hear the "roundness" of the psy triple-bass. Sorry for my lack of better word (...)

SamB0bo > I personally give a lot of importance to sound quality because I like to hear the music as it should be heard and not just a distorted version of a track. Sure I'm going to raves to dance and party (and I probably dance and party harder than most people), but I'm mostly going to raves for the music.

Anyways, I don't want to offend anyone with my toughts concerning the sound, I'm simply trying to give an honnest review. I know everybody's doing what they can and it still was one hell of a party.

Sad I couldn't go see Artifakt on tuesday. How was it?

Pretty killer :D
and also the room had dead spots.. it's a square room.
I thought the bass was fine though .. just in the busy parts of tracks I could hear it compressing quite a bit.
