Someone drew a crappy version of a pattern on a sheet, and never sold it or claimed it was some amazing original thing. |

Someone once copied the way I wrote my tag once, and yeah, I didn't get mad, and I blushed a little... But it doesn't change the fact that copying someones work (regardless of how awful the rendition) is FUCKING WACK. |

an about making money out of it... well if these guys charge 10$ for a free venue, and then advertise their event with 'TRIPPY DECORATION by AztekSoul', i think this is getting close enough to making money with the copied art. and this sucks, and this guy should not be encouraged. it is NOT authentic. and, ok, maybe he could have copied the art of an artist who is dead, or living far away and that no one will ever see or know, and whatever, you know. but he actually went and copied the art of someone who lives in Montreal and actually gets contracts for putting his paintings at parties in Montreal (and other places too). and then he actually puts it in front on a DJ booth in a party. i mean what the fuck. that is some fucking stupid thing to do, what, did he expect that the original artist would not be bothered, or would not hear about it? i just don't understand how can some people be so inconsiderate... use your imagination, then maybe you'll earn some respect... |
