If a drunken retard came up to me on the street and insulted me, would i feel insulted? probaly not.
For me to feel insulted, i would have to feel humiliation and very few peoples, apart from myself, can make me feel humiliated. For an insult to hit home, there has to be a little bit of truth to it. Also, Dr Ny., where do you get that a bunch of long haired, bearded, bike riding, drug taking, godless and promiscuous peoples (the hells angels) where as conservative/republican as Dick Chainey? Update » databoy wrote on Thu Jun 5, 2008 @ 1:38pm If a black puppet where hoisted to the U.S. presidency, the symbol would be extremely important of blacks around the world, but dont expect much change from the government, the democrats and republicans are like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the same person.

I don't agree. He's always been a womanizer and she's known it way before the scandal. That she is able to see the good in the relationship and still pursue a life with him, despite his limitations, shows that she is at least mature enough; it's not a weakness because she could walk away from it.
And that is IF she's forgiven him. Public forgiveness was mandatory for her senator/presidential candidate aspirations. What goes on behind the walls is another story. Update » DCRn wrote on Thu Jun 5, 2008 @ 1:39pm As for the databoy's question, from books. Read Hells Angels by Hunter S. Thompson or Hell's Angels: The Life and Times of Sonny Barger and the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, though the Thompson book should be enough. It was praised by the media and the first book to supposedly portray the Hells correctly, as Sonny Barger stated. The second book if partly written by the guy (more like, they wrote what he said).
Both would show you a very different unit of bikers than the ones you see today. Yes, they had liberal tendencies but they were pro-vietnam, anti-hippies, pro corporations and all. They wanted a world in which they could rebel. Remove it and they're like everyone else. Update » DCRn wrote on Thu Jun 5, 2008 @ 1:42pm I guess you could say they were conservative by default because of this. True, probably not in the same way as Cheney but as intense as Cheney. I do not believe for one second that Cheney believes all that his political alliance stands for; it is as much a tool for him as it was for the Hells, to get what he wants.

The Hell's may have been of republican persuasion (kinda like Rambo), I'll take your word on that, but were as far removed from the average American citizen as you can get. Beside, they where not enough of them to be considered a social movement like the hippies. My point was, the illegal drug takers where a minority as where the true revolutionaries.
