No shit. I could agree with that.

If you take public transit, stop using the garbage cans from now on. Just pour your garbage on the ground. Pick up 3 copies of the Metro and the 24h just to leave them on the ground. Make these striking maintenance cocksuckers earn their wages when they finally get back on the job.

Taggers and graffers. You know what to do.

Yeah. I just learned how things work for teachers, it's complete bullshit.

j'espère juste que ça durera pas trop longtemps... je travaille pas toujours "aux heures de services essentiels" et sans le métro aller de chez moi (metro sherbrooke) à rockland, c'est quand même la merde totale.
I'm feeling stm_a_marde right now..

Didt revenu canada offer a income tax return if u kept your passes to counter a bit the raises? If so it might soud less dramatic then everyone thinks...

My brother in law works as a driver & are getting aroud the 32$ last ive heard of it ,but again consider this ,hes losing more then half of his pay to taxes, union, vacation pay...

He will probly still have like 600$ a week x 4 = 2400 .Now if your the only one working and have a house, car, family kinda thing going on well...i dunno i still consider that middle class...

But in the end...yeh we end up paying one way or the other...

You go earlier, during the bus/metro hours. Read a book. If it's not raining, walk around. Discover your city.

The STM sucks for this but if it really is a life and death situation for you, you depend too much on others.

How hard is putting a foot in front of another? Ride a bike?

There are exceptions, I understand. Inside Montreal though... rent a bike. I walked from Frontenac to Lionel-Groulx everyday. I'm not dead yet.

I still take two 40 minutes walk to and from work everyday.

S'just... it's all that's been talked about today at work. People live not even 60 minutes away by foot from where they need to go and yet, they just bitch, bitch and bitch. I understand that it's a pain in the ass but c'mon, it shouldn't stop you from actually going to work/classes unless you're miles and miles away.

Yeah, exactly what I was sayin', I mean, people should be able to walk 30-60 minutes to work. I mean if they can't, prolly means there's a serious health issue.;)

that would be 10 hours per week... So, a bit less for them.
That's a lot.
Do some of these people have kids ? Even worse.

I'd love to get to the office, late and sweaty. I'm sure my bosses would love it too.

It's great that you're willing to walk for 1hr20min every day, probably great for your health... but deciding that, because *you* are willing to do it, everyone who isn't is a bunch of whiny bitches seems exagerated.

The government is trying to push us to choose public transportations, and now this happens. I didn't even know about the 15 times in 40 years thing before I read it this morning. Blarg.
