i think that in a lot of ways people in the west (north america especially) because of negative media coverage and propoganda have come to see strinking workers as just lazy. This i think is a misperception. There is an old saying in business "if you have a union you probobly deserve it"... i think this is true. One of the only things that feminists are really right about is the fact that the world is still basically run by fat old rich white people who love booze, whores, cocaine and paying their workers shit. |

My dad spends his day driving around seeing customers, runs his own buisness, and spends a LOT more time thinking and processing information than the idiots behind the wheel and in the ticket booth, and he makes less money than they do! They have no fucking excuse for wanting more money, other than they're being fucking greedy bastards and taking advantage of the fact that a large majority of the people in the city rely on their service for things that are much more important than their shitty job. |

lazyness is one thing... nobody is telling these guys to work longer hours in unsafe conditions, but GREEDYNESS is something completly different. the average cashier makes around 8 bucks an hour... and the ones in the metro are making more a shit load more than that and bitching its not enough. they are taking advantage of the fact that our public transit system is an monopoly that ppl need to keep our economy moving. but the fact of the matter is that almost ANYBODY can do thier jobs. i think they should just bring in fucking scabs and have strikers fuckin' arrested for endangering ppls safety... that simple... FUCK EM!!! FUCK EM!!! FUCK EM!!!! a teachers strike i can understand... these are ppl with educations who live just like the rest of us and are acctually incredibly overworked for the salarys they are getting paid shit, there is not enough of them and they play a way bigger roll in shaping our countrys future. i do believe some ppl acctually do deserve more money... but personaly don't think that the average stcum worker falls into that catagorie. |

We'll have zero customers if the stm goes on strike. So over the fact I can't get around I might have to miss work therefore have a pretty low paycheck :(
I'd work in the booth things for like 10$ an hour for sure. Thats less than half what they make... |
