i don't know if i can deal with roomates though.. especially if its someone i'm not confortable with ..

maybe like a loft-style place would work best for me.. so i have enough room for my studio and living room in the same place, with my bed in the corner or something..

damn.. rent is expensive .. :S

Mommy !!! :D

to clear 1000$ a week after taxes you would have to work at least 40 hours at 50$ an hour....

a 40k job is about $500-$600 a week clear...

to make 1000$ a week cleared i'm sure you would have to make at least 100-120k since anything over 50k yer getting taxed at least half you earnigs.

if anybody off this site makes that kinda coin...

they either got an engineering degree....

or a meth lab?
I'm feeling hungover right now..

No, how is that? I make around 240 - 300 a week off my ACTRA benefits and my job clears at least 6 bills a week...or it used to. Now it's up to me to save that money.

loft is good if you have studio. in my house, we have 2. years ago it was a house manufactory.
walls was built and now my room and the studio is insonorise. i can sleep quietly even if someone listen big music just in the next room.. it's the best if u don't want people complaining..

and for help cacul your budget allowed to your rent, calcul that an average student should spent 1/3 of his income in the rent.

check out near papineau/delornier/ontario.. you can find good deal.
I'm feeling ok right now..

you have to be making a shitload to clear 1000$ a week.

I work at Chrysler during the summer... its a parts distribution center and it's really just order picking and general manual labor (no degree required) Since i'm a student i only make 75% of what the regular employees make... I get 27.50$ per hour and for a 40 hour work week that comes out to $1140.50 gross, but since this bumps me into some kind of freaky high tax bracket i end up with $753.64 after taxes and stuff.

So for someone to clear 1000$ (unless you're working under the table or deal meth) you'd have to be making over 30$ an hour.

I worked at pratt + witney during summers a couple of times and I made 22.50 or something like that /hour, cleared around 900 a week, lost 1/3 to taxes and ended up with about 600. You lose lots to tax when you make decent money with legit work.

If you lose 1/3 of your income to tax you'd have to make 1500 / week before tax to clear 1000. But I think at that rate the tax might be even higher.

Getting money from a trust fund isn't the same as working for it also :D

If you are working full time it's best to have your rent equal about one week of salary or less.
