| Coolness: 166530 | Actually, the word punk means something rotten, (or crumbling), the concept originating from tree rot, so it's actually like calling someone "scum"...then it came to mean, what whoever said, a "youngster" or newbie...then it got attached to the culture...so we can call the guy a "punk ass bitch" or whatever, but not simply punk...so yes I know what it means, and yes it's important to make that diference, as to not dump in this fucker with an entire movement, and, besides, with the written word, it's hard to tell which conotation someone is going for...that's all...I know I'm not the only one who cares about the social repurcussions this can have on generalized groups of people...just worried about the consequences...geez... |
