"Bon monde avec un gun." Ca existe pas mon ami. If you're a good person, you don't need or want a gun.PERIOD.

Wha?

But don't you see, you helped make my point... guns are bad news PERIOD. The ONLY reason we need them at all anymore is to protect against other people who have them. Besides... there are other ways to defend one self. Grenades anyone?

Time and time again? Sorry, Columbine, then Dawson...that's it, where's else did this happen in the past 7 years? Nowhere! And people acting out on their posts? Very slim of that happening on a plur site.

not going to happen here...because there is no outstanding evidence that anyone's a gun toting freak that lives in his mom's basement, the proof was all over [ VampireFreaks.com ] and those motherfuckers WANTED this shit to happen, there even others threatening to do it again! Do you see the police prosecuting them? We are LUCKY that they didnt just say "We couldnt afford the lives of Police Officers" and let the fucker drill holes in everyone there and play out his entire scenario. But they didnt, and we're lucky for that...now if you think a cop is gonna come on [ Rave.ca ] ( a website my oldest friend created in High School ) to monitor shit because youo're a pussy...youre wrong again...it takes OUTSTANDING evidence to proov that someone is a sick fucker, like pics with Semi Automatics pointed at the Camera, or like Dahmer when his mom found him gutting a cat and playing with entrails at 4 and DID NOTHING! That's where it stems from and ppl like that stick out alot more than you think, it's just up to us to report it...not make a big deal with moderation and [ such...ca ] that wont get us anywhere...its only going to freighten the admin and strike fear in ppl for nothing...freedom of speech still exists you know, it's all how you view it I guess...we dont need a bunch of Rat bitches on this site reporting ppl for nothing, being little internet police...fuck you.

Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on your point of view) freedom of speech is part of the first constitutional amendment. I Don't think site operators can or should be held responsable for, or are legally obliged to report the actions, comments, options, or posts of any of its users... To be extra safe I suppoose a disclaimer to that effect may be neccesary when a new user signs up and creates an account to exempt any liability from the site operator. Users online have the right to freedom of speech (so long as it does not imply hateful actions promoted through racial discriminating towards a particular society or group of individuals. Vague posts along the lines of "I hate and I'm gonna go after them" is not grounds enough to arrest someone for uttering threats... the intentions within the threat have to be more specific and detailed otherwise it would be completely outruled and would never pass a preliminary court hearing.

I think it's a good idea for people on this site in particular to refrain from threats for the time being. I know 99.9% of it is BS but it sucks when you have to talk to a fucking detective over shit like this (been there when I was 15)..

Under normal circumstances that kid would be back on the streets on bail but they're holding him until thursday cause his parent failed to show up for his bail hearing yesterday... Personally I think the parents made the right decision by not showing up at the hearing cause at least this way their son gets a taste of things to come should he choose a forcoming criminal lifestyle. Either way they can't charge him with anything beyond "uttering threats" which, if convicted of, would result in 5 years imprisonment at most (assuming he wouldn't get out on parole which he probably would after a year or two).

It depends on the circumstances. When I was 15 I was questioned by a detective because I had a website that was considered "threatening" although I didn't have any threats against real or imaginary people on it. I couldn't be charged with anything. But I did feel violated.

There is a fine line between someone threatening real people and someone expressing their freedom of speech. I wouldn't want to live in a world with people being prosecuted for "thought crimes" as much as I wouldn't want to live in a world with violence.

the guy even sent us what i assumed to be a fake lawers letters via e-mail.
we called his bluff and created a fake user with his name(trevor williamson if i recal correctly?) and an avatar with screech from saved by the bell.
he would make posts about jesus and how it was wrong for corey k to post chicken porn.
