yea well, thats why i feel bad, i told her now what i saw, and what i thought was goin on...
but the fact i never had a talk with pops, and never told my mom what was goin on......well, i should of, cuz if i just found sumthing like this out, i would be pissed that nobody told me...

i mean, i know how it feels to find out your girlfriend was fucking around with sumone else, but imagine sumone you've been with for 39 years and raised 3 children with...

cant be very fun.

atleast you had the courage to say anything at all. Pat yourself on the back-- your situation as far as I know is not the same thing as being in that situation many many times and wanting to do one thing but consistently doing another. and even then, I don't know.. We're in a learning process..so.. --yes I am repeating myself.

I can imagine that it can be very difficult to deal with if you have been with a person that long and in such a situation. Then again, not to minimize any pain that anyone in your family is going through. But people can take things differently in the same situation. It's alot worse I suppose to find the above out if you thought everything was fine and dandy.

So you're saying we should look back? I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure Kurt Cobain killed himself, isn't that proof of... something? ANyway!
LIFE is a learning process... it doesn't matter when or how or why, and it happens regardless of when, why or how. I think we all know how cheating happens... alcohol, boredom or a really stupid stupid decision. The end result is the same and I am starting to think people just can't control themselves PERIOD.
You're put in a situation; you do what is best for you at the moment... (Socrates style, or Aristle, or Plato I forget). I guess ifyour boy/girlfriend treats you super well and you're happy about your time with that person, it shouldn't really matter who they sleep with.
If they THROW it in your face or straight out lie about it, that would strongly affect your happiness in that relationship. And as such, whether you think someone is ugly or you've been 'cheated' on, you're going to dump them either way. Any reason is a reason.

Now... if your significant other sleeps around and you decide that you don't WANT a significant that sleeps around, that's YOUR problem, you can dump them right there on the spot. Those who are destroyed by the situation were simply 100% too dependant on the other person. "MY WHOLE WORLD IS COLLAPSING!" style
If someone is so important to you that you can't let them do what they want, that's YOUR problem. So in light of this I say fuck it all! Be honest, be true to your friends, but you're only here till 39 years old anyway so have some damned fun instead of worrying about what OTHER people MIGHT be doing. sheeeeeshhhh

Evidence seems to suggest that Kurt Cobain couldn't have possibly shot himself in the head. He had shot such a large dosage of H before he was shot, that he would have dropped dead instantly. His needles were put back neatly in their box. He coudln't have put away the needles and then had time to shoot himself before his heart stopped. His suicide note was in two different hadn-writtings. You pay enough money and people don't ask questions. Many people including Courtney Love's dad whot thinks she did it, pushed really hard to re-open the case but there's been absolutely no negotiation on the subject. There's books and films about it, alot of pissed off people.
When he says don't look back though I think he means running away from your past doesn't work. Comming to terms with ti and understandign it makes your experiences useful.

That is good advice then, you can't run away form your past, you learn from it. But you can't live in the past either, I find when I am most depressed I am think solely about the past and when I am happy and motivated, it's all about the present/futur. That might just be me though...

In general I would agree with you-- my state of being when I am sad and happy are generally like you say. I notice however that when I am happy, I do think of my past. however I have learned to detach myself in a healthy way from it. I am not dwelling on it--my focus is more on present-future and what to do by learning from the past.

Bottom line: don't stay hooked on the past, deal with what happens to you cause its happening weither you like it or not and learn to forgive.

Problem is, one never forgets. Do what you think will make YOU happy. Fuck everybody else, think for yourself a little...but isn't that a little selfish? Why does life teach us to be selfish?

Because we can't trust any one else... Sounds like a spiral to me...
BE SENSITIVE ---> we get hurt
BE SELFISH -----> we get called jerks/assholes/self centered
BE TRUSTING ----> WE GET HURT
TRUST NO ONE----> we are miserable
USE LOGIC----> we get confused

There's no right or wrong answer, just put so much energy into making the near future great that any problems will only motivate you to move faster and better! Hard? Drink Coffee

It's important to look back sure. Just becuase he killed himself doesn't mean everything he said is untrue. If he killed himself, perhaps he didn't take his own advice, who knows?

so tired don't want to go to work but will.

cheating sucks, that's why you take breaks, NO JUST JOKING. it really has a harsh impact on relationships. even years down the line people don't forget. that's why either you fuck or you don't but never around, it's just not worth it especially if you cum fast, their horrible and you take along time to cum, or if it was a one nighter and you just lost the one love in your life because someone slept over and you didn't do anything all night when she tried really hard but then that morning erection came around and you just had to wake he up and show her.

i've never cheated on anyone, never will. i know first hand the pain it can cause, and i'd never put someone i love through that.

my ex cheated on me shortly before breaking up with me and that sucked ass.

gah, it's horribly true. i guess it's hard to tell someone how you really feel, so you just cheat on them, cuz you figure 'breaking' up with them and living without them would hurt too much, etc... so they cheat.. um i dno.. either way, cheating is TEH GAY.

yeah, i never got the whole cheat>truth equation.
cuz it just doesn't seem to be less painful to find out that you're retarded than it is to get over being dumped.

at least if you get dumped you can still respect the person for being honest

That is definitely true. I guess people HATE being cheated on because it PROVES that they have no clue what their loved ones are doing. That alone is painful for the same reason in EVERY superhero movie, their girlfriend is always taken hostage... I suppose having your girlfriend raped would be horrible, but her cheating is like her being raped AND she's liking it; it's worse.
Lesson: If you don't want to be cheated on, don't cheat on anyone else.
