Personnally I have never really been in a serious relationship before, because I didn't find the right person. So I have had (and still have) plenty of time to enjoy my single life and try different stuff with several people. Some experiences were really great, and some not so great. So I tend to think that if I found someone who I was really into and who fitted with me on all aspects, that I wouldn't want to share that person with other girls for sex, nor would I be interested in having sex with a bunch of other guys who would probably end up not being half as good as my partner.
In my ideal, I shouldn't feel trapped in a relationship and feel that it holds me from living life to the fullest. If so, that means something is not right. So that's why I'd rather wait to commit until I find someone who's really worth it for me (and vice versa) and I know that when I find that person, it wont be a hassle to stay monogamous.

I see your point, but I want to add that the reason why I'd rather not go there is not because it's "unhealthy" (cause I'll admit I don't have the healthiest of lifestyles) but because it makes me feel bad. as opposed to other venues (or even better - outdoor parties). 2 first times I went there, I lost my voice because of the poor air quality, coudn't speak for 3 days and throat hurt like hell. I also got a flu cause I surely didn't expect that it was gonna be that cold. other venues didn't bring me those problems. Now I know that using drugs is unhealthy, but I usually try to use in doses small enough not to make me total kaputt afterwards. for example I stopped taking mdma cause I didn't get the euphoria anymore and all it did was make me depressed after...
so if the positive aspects of something are worth more than the negative aspects, then I keep using it, and if I see more negative stuff related to it, then I don't see the point in using it anymore.

oh i remember seeing the Blood on my nikes video when i had been only one month in montreal (moved here july 1st). i actually wanted to attend, but i was alone and had never been to 3810 st-patrick, and i heard it was in a sketchy area, XD so i ended up not going. going there for the first time a while later, i was kinda glad i was with friends :P

well, youtube is great, but sometimes you don't know what you are looking for and have no inspiration of new songs to discover.. so when someone else does the selection, it can be interesting. plus sometimes you feel like pressing play and not having to go change the video all the time (playlists are good for that anyway, but still). and finally, when i lived at my parents house, they had a nice large flat screen tv, as opposed to my small laptop which is not all that great for watching videos..

when i want to save up some cash, i treat it like a bill. for example i will take 50$ (or whatever amount) for each paycheck that i will automatically put in an account as soon as i get it, and then i consider it GONE. otherwise, if i wait to have leftover money to save it up, it will never happen lol

i remember when i was young, musique plus used to play actual music videos, in the week ends i could just tune in and there would be 3 hours straight of clips and animation... or shows dedicated to new music discoveries...
today, it's just reality tv and crap sponsored tunes. i don't have cable tv anymore since 3 years and i don't miss it one bit, another reason is that there is about 10 minutes of commercials for every 20 minutes of content. that's way too much fucking spamming IMO and the fucking pubs (for the most part) arent worth any interest

the first time i did it was 5x, didn't work, second time we tried the 30x. we didn't even know that we had to use a torch lighter, but only with a regular lighter it was SO FUCKING STRONG, seriously i was out of this world for a few minutes :S and it was scary, i didnt understand a thing and i almost jumped from my balcony without even realizing it... good thing i wasnt alone. my friend also couldnt control the saliva running out of his mouth :S anyway, i'd be scared to try salvia again

and also, I,ve been mainly to psy events up until now, and I didn't find everything "hippie" and perfect there. as if everybody already knew each other and I tried getting to know some people but they weren't so easy to reach. still don't know many people after a few months. and there were people that acted very badly because they were too fucked on drugs, so I guess this type of behavior isn't related to any particular style
so what "style" of events are more welcoming to newcomers according to you guys?

So, I've been living in Montreal for only a few months and I've never been to any dubstep event, but a lot of people tell me they're not really worth it. they all say there is something weird with the vibe. a friend of mine, who I met in psytrance events, said: I really like dubsteb, but I never go to dubstep nights because the vibe is just not as good. apparently people are bitchy or mean or god knows what...
so, what do you think is wrong with that scene if you've been to dubstep nights and think the vibe is not cool?
and if you think it is cool, why do you think it's as cool as the others and why do you think people say that?
i'm not talking about the appreciation or not of the music but really of the vibe of the parties...

Niji, en réponse à ton point, oui il y a des gens qui se les approprient :S y'avait un gars qui stalkait Antonino pis qui s'était fait un faux facebook en se faisant passer pour lui avec ses photos :S c'était un marocain. Je l'ai découvert quand un jour quelqu'un m'a rajouté sur msn avec l'adresse medina-pola@hotmail.com. pis en vérifiant sur facebook j'ai vu que c'était un "fake" antonino. je trouvais aussi ca louche parce que le gars était francophone. j'ai demandé au vrai si c'était lui pis il m'a dit non. Sur son profil, le dude avait uploadé des albums de photos, et quand les gens disaient des commentaires positifs sur les photos, il disait merci comme si c'était lui qui les avait pris... tka.. weird.

what I really enjoy in a party, actually, is when there is diversity, a few rooms with different styles or one room with a line up of different styles. it brings together people of different "crews" and gives you the chance to listen to something else if you are bored after listening to the same thing for 3 hours straight. and makes you discover new stuff :) a lot of the parties i enjoyed most were like that.

I did go :) and had fun, but I don't think I could have stayed all night in the cold... and that's why I still go to indoor parties.

So, it's funny, the day after I wrote that post saying I couldnt find any acid, a good friend of mine found some :P so I took 1 tab of acid at Spore. I really felt good, I was smiling all the time, and the deco looked beautiful to me. Some weird stuff happened to me in the rave, but I handled everything peacefully. I did see some visuals, but nothing too extreme. It's weird, but I thought the trip was more similar to a mdma trip than to a mushroom trip. I didn't find it too overwhelming at all. Maybe the dose wasn't too strong, but my friend said it was very good acid according to him. So anyway, I would definitely do it again .. if I find some more lol.

it's actually the contrary, K mixed with alcohol can make you black out faster than usually and can be very dangerous. however I realized that I needed more K than some other people to get high, even if I started using it later than some of them... I guess it affects most people differently just like most drugs, for example some people will get drunk with 4 beers and some will need way more. I say just get yourself a vial and try taking bigger and bigger bumps and you will end up high

i've been wanting to try acid for a long time now, but can't seem to find it anywhere trustworthy. i took one tab that I got from a guy I had seen a couple times (but didn't know very much) and it didnt work. the next day, I bought 2 more tabs and took them, and still nothing. I was fucking upset that I lost all that cash and wasnt high, so I ate a big bunch of mushrooms, and it was the worst badtrip of my life lol. but I knew I was fucked from the shrooms.
seriously, is it possible that 1 and then 2 tabs of acid are not gonna work at all? Now I'm scared, I want to do acid but I fear I'm gonna get ripped off again. Or is there any way to make sure that there is actual lsd on the tab?
