i got a trick for trancy/hardcore leads,with any vst

what you can do is use 4 vst, 2 that sounds similar, on a different octave Ex: on C4 and C5, pan: centered

2 that sounds different, one panned 100% left, one panned 100% right

and then try to change the fine pitch ( by a really few cents) of one or a few osc in the centered ones, it should help widen the sound

remove all delay / reverbs on the plug ins, the goup the 4's in one bus/group/channel/Aux/Wtv its called in your Daw

i Use S-1 Imager to widen them more, maybe a bit of disto, then delay, then send to a reverb Aux.

i did that or something similar in my latest track, and i can say for the first time that im happy with the sound/widening ratio about it!

no, must sound terrible! sound bouncing everywhere unequally, everything would sound muddy!

yeah, in my latest tracks i use like 8-10 vst and maybe 20 inserts including time based effects And dynamic processing

and i think my stuff sounds better than it ever sounded!

i got 1.1.4, its cubase the problem, because massive works fine with FL!

i know aone, in fact, im replying not because the subject is happy hardcore, but because, once again, people are dissing a gener of music, any genre of music, without even knoing what it really is, its not like if they knew what hardcore is, they dont and they prove it themselves.


i dont personnally dig psytrance, but i dont go and start a thread about how it sucks and how le ghey it his, because, i dont listen to it and wouldnt be able to give any constructive comments on it without listening to it for a few days before.

it applies for every genre of music.

arpegiator on the random, good for you a_x_cell if you can do that, but i have yet to hear an uk hardcore track with that. And i dont, i dont know any producers in any genre that does, maybe, ask yourself a question, if you do your melodies based on random arpegiator, why do you make music in the first place?

before dissing any genre, try and make a tune of this genre, i mean, not a try at making something that could sound relatively close to it. making a real tune of it.

yes happy hardcore is dead, in fact, i dont like happy hardcore, as in before 2001, but uk hardcore is a complete makeover of it.
