When I was around 16, following the evolution of this music I turned to Psy-trance, Hardcore and Drum N Bass which I enjoyed in several raves. It was only when I turned 20that I became interested in House music.More recently, I began organizing events through this business which I started in 2006. Together with my partners, we’ve organized more than 100 events of different kinds, I learned more about the nightlife and what it is to be an artist. Now I slide myself behind the turntables to let everyone experience what I’ve heard over these years. Depuis l'âge de 12 ans que je raffine mes oreilles aux sons électrisants de groupes comme Daft Punk/Prodigy/Crystal Method. Avec l'évolution de cette musique électronique, ver mes 16 ans j'ai tourné ver le Psy-trance, Hardcore, Drum N Bass que j'ai pu profiter dans plusieurs raves. C'est seulement quand j'ai eu environ 20 ans que je me suis intéressé à la musique de style House. Je possède une entreprise d'organisation d'événements depuis 2006. Ayant organisé et co-organisé plus de 100 événements de touts genres, j'ai pu connaitre la scène et la vie d'artiste. Maintenant je me glisse derrière les tables afin de faire profiter aux autres touts ce que j'ai pu entendre durant ses nombreuses années. --------------------- DJ By the Beach Ce jeune DJ est un talent incontournable par l'originalité de ses créations. DJ By The Beach prouve l'étendue de son talent. Sa force réside dans la capacité à triturer les sons avec brio et créer ainsi un genre propre. Abstract or Dancefloor oriented. It’s all about working the angles for me. Sometimes, it can be a disadvantage because people don’t know what to associate me with. It might not be good marketing-wise but all I’ve ever wanted to be associated with as a DJ is good music period. I started Djing in 1999, but have been a music nerd since day 1. I was fortunate enough to grow in an environment where my parents made me listen to all types of stuff, my mom and uncle made me listen to Jimmy Cliff, the Rolling Stones; my dad to the Beach Boys and Gordon Lightfoot (!). I grew up in a pretty multi-cultural area of Montreal so that forced me to discover other musical cultures, much more than the just french canadian music… I’ve been Djing for over 10 years but I also try to stay very humble and open to new collaborations and new ideas.
