then why are you SCREAMING at us officer?

yeah i'm listening the panel... interesting..

i think the key words here for what is underground are DIY... independent... i think underground will always be alive.

if the tendency continue as it is in art history... there;s always be some artist pushing the boundaries..

but something very unknown culturally can be brought up in the mass media and still an infinite numbers of the population will be aware of the phenomenon..

a very small infinite persona or phenomena is gonna have the appeal or attention of the masses or even a precise demographics... becoming an archetype is not simple matter...haha

mass comm theory and sociology is such complex sciences.. i have a great socio. professor i wonder what she have to say about that matter..
I'm feeling hitched right now..

The Great Underground Empire ended in 836 GUE with the curse of Megaboz and the death of the Twelve Flatheads. Zork Zero. Everyone knows that.

the underground is busy giving me a rimjob.

she;ll be back up as soon as she's done cleaning the shit nuggets out of my ass.

ps merely discussing the "underground" makes it "above ground"

Best example; Pendulum.

Always thought it sounded like circus music, the Warner stuff sounds like mainstream music mixed with DnB, and I find it is actually better :)

People are always talking like Europe and Europes party scene. A guy called jay called me about a party in frankfurt called wild obsession.

And you know wut i did baby? I bought a ticket. I flew to like frankfurt. And one night I took a taxi to the wild obsession party.
I'm feeling disenchanted (=x_x=) right now..

god that last track by pendulum was crap !

personaly, I'd say underground mostly resides in the intentions and motivations of creators. We can't blame any good producer or artist for having success and being liked by people, althougt we can blame him for doing it in that only purpose. Still, money, to me, always tends to kill "ART", to depreciate it in favor of capitalists interests. There's so many examples of artists of all genres who did great things in their debut, then got spotted by major distributors and progressively lost their flavour.

It's also a question of attitude, a underground artist should always be humble and open-minded about his ar. Someone who think he's better than everyone, than its public, or does it only for the attention, even thought he is techincally underground ( maybe nobody knows him, doesn't make money, plays in littles partys, etc.) will most likely either crash or eventualy get in the spotlight and try to become a star. To me, there's no star in the underground, stardom opposes to underground. In the underground the link between the artist and its public is stronger, I think. As basdini said it's also the whole DIY attitude that makes ungerground underground...

My only few cents
I'm feeling may 1st right now..
