Enforcer "security Speakers" In The Metro

Let me explain. For those who don't know yet, there is a very high frequency that only kids and young people can hear. So far it was being used in funny videos on the internet & cellphone ringtones, etc. I happenned to notice at the Berri station over the last few days (was it there for longer than that?), I'd say, more than 50 speakers (1 every few meters) constantly playing this noise (the brand is Enforcer if you want to check) This is targeted on children & teens, and is aggressing for me (20yo), very aggressing for my sis (14yo), and actually makes babies cry (no kidding). So far I couldn't get any information on that crap. There seems to be absolutely no purpose for this, some say it's to make people go away???? but the thing is that it's everywhere is Berri station (even the (Quais D'embarquement, ramps??). So the "go away" purpose dosen't seem to fit. Anyone has read something or has info on this? |

But isnt a security system like that infringing on rights somehow? I know a mall is private property but metro's are govt. run, kids have a right to pass through them no? |

but they put those in a zone where you have paid to be there... Check for the "puck" first, there's a few of them there. (the long speakers) And everywhere else, there is the round speakers (volume is a bit lower on those) |
