Exactly, it works but only in theory because you can never force a person to conform to your beliefs. If you did then that person wouldn't be a genuine communist because their intention was dictated to them. An act based on a belief be it the act of making a personal sacrifice for "the greater good" or any other is only righteous if the person making the sacrifice has come to the realization that they must do so on their own, without encouragement from others.

Eventhough every country has its own government system setup we're all individuals living in what I like to call "The Capitalist World" and the great majoruity of us all inclined to look out for our own success (even it it has to come at the expense of others or the environment) rather than work together on a macro scale and support "The Group" be it everything in existence, Life on Earth, Humanity as a species, Members of a particular belief (religious) or cultural system, Members of a specific ethnic group, a Nation's citizens, a large community's members, a small municipality residents, a small non-politically related social group, a family, or even a pair of 2 individuals.

The bottom line is that life is a game where every player involved finds themself in a perpetual "prisoner's dilemma" and has to make choices which are ultimately based on their own moral opinions of 'right' or 'wrong' despite external influences involving other people, environmental factors, and/or systems already in place...

Most living things (especially humans) favour success to failure and are extremely selfish by nature. Consequently they/we do anything to survive even if "survival" is defined by simply maintaining one's current social standing within their living environment. Perhaps it's because we identify primarily through associations and by comparing ourselves to one another but such behavior is common in less social and non-social species where the physically or biologically strong are naturally invclined dominate the weak (and usually succeed at doing so) so who knows for sure...

For more info on "The Prisoner's Dilemma" and game theory check out: [ en.wikipedia.org ]

For starters you guys should read up on Marx and The Communist Manifesto.

I suppose it could be fair to say that military groups have borderline communist ideals depending on what perspective you're analyzing it from. It's role is primarilty to defend "the nation" and "the people's interest", which implies that there's a communal interest shared by each member within the population. Obviously the american military doesn't enforce such dilussional ideals since not every U.S. citizen is of the same opinion or supports the wars which are currently ongoing on overseas.

Technically speaking, since the president, who is in fact the highest ranking military officer to which all orders must reported to and authorized by prior to any action being taken doesn't always command the miliary based on the peoples' desire to do so, (and often based on classified information, misinformation, and/or evidence which isn't even made available to the public) one could justifiably say that the military and it's hierarchy is nothing more than a mechanism used to maintain current and ensure future totalitarian control by whomever is the "acting" president at the time. What we often neglect to acknowledge is that modern day presidents are autocratic leaders with supreme authority over the population who's "elected authority" can't even be legitimately verified since, as we all know, the voting system is corrupt and congress has to date only allowed wealthy white native born american men (with the exception of General George Washington) who also need to be a part of the free mason society else they be assassinated (as were Abe Lincoln and JFK respectufully) to even have a fair chance of being in such a position of power. This pattern of power distribution combined with the federal government's misappropriation of tax dollars for offshore military spending and "homeland security" (translated: domestic citizen monitoring) is actually quite frightening and could lead to the Orwellian future scenario which, despite what some might say is inevitable, should be prevented (or at least delayed as long as possible) so the people, maintain their individuality and basic fundamental human rights which, in the near future will no longer be protected whatsoever by the constitution.

For anyone who hasn't already seen it I recommend "America: From Freedom To Fascism" directed by Aaron Russo
Which focuses on the Federal Reserve, the IRS, The North American Union and the supposed inevitability of a global govenment and world police which would be controlled primarily by bankers and secret monitoring agencies like 'Echelon' (originally nicknamed Carnivore).

Anyways, that's my two cents for now. I'll add a few more pennys once this thread picks up a little.

Here's a quote from the movie I found particularely entertaining...
"Fascism should more properly be called Corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power."
-Benito Mussolini

Ha! My birthday actually falls on what's estimated to be the most accurate birth date of Jesus. Most orthodox celebrate Christmas based on the Julian calender 13 days after what we consider December 25th on the Gregorian calender. Also note that the Gregorian calender only came into effect in 1582. Looking back at the history that has been recorded, it's quite likely that the actual birth date of Jesus still doesn't fall on what we consider January 7th since the Julian calender's leap years occured on a 3 year cycle instead of a 4 year cycle which means 1 day would be unaccounted for every 128 years. Leap years were counted as follows: 45 BC, 42 BC, 39 BC, 36 BC, 33 BC, 30 BC, 27 BC, 24 BC, 21 BC, 18 BC, 15 BC, 12 BC, 9 BC, 8 AD, 12 AD, and every 4th year from then on. Kepler, Matzat, Radke all argued that the time sequence was incorrect and each came up with their own pattern theories which is why it's so difficult to know for sure where the calenders should've been aligned. Consequently it's extremely difficult to accurantely track down historical events with their exact chronology...

For the record I don't wish to "seem" as, or like anything. I also dno't wish to be referred to as "Almighty" unless you've consciously chosen to identify me that way.

I speak the truth. Unfortunately, some people can't handle it, don't have the courage to speak it themselves, or simply don't wish to hear it eventhough they may already know what is being said is indeed fact. From my experience, nothing is more feared, anticipated, important than, or painful than the truth. If certain words seem too "aggressive" then you must acknowledge that having used less accurate words (which shouldn't even be considered an option) would only result in less appropriate reactions. Without the honesty of it's intensity, critism is often completely disregarded by that which is being criticized and often in denial. I would never dare offend someone by sugar-coating my commentary on something which they requested, or required my opinions on. Traditionally, proximity increases intensity which is why those who are closest to us are often the most reluctant to provide objective critism for fear that we may in turn be offended by that which was said and often true. And somehow, despite the lack of sincerity or honesty in most critisms, there are those who appreciate such sugar-coated advice who I may never understand. Anyways, I don't believe my achievements are dependant on whether or not I sugar-coat my commentaries for others. They are dependant however on how others wish to interpret and apply the objectivity of what I have to say which is why I choose to use the most accurate terms possible as to prevent the reader from potentially misunderstanding the message.

Talk about pride for all the wrong reasons...

Listen, if it was your goal to be considered a fool by others then, as pathetic as it sounds, I'm glad you've accomplished something at least cause evidently you seem to believe that such a pseudo-accomplishment actually deserves some sense of merit. Who knows, perhaps your mental abilities plateaued at such a young age that you never had the chance, or potential to interact normally with people who might understand your lack for a better purpose. Either way I doubt you'll learn from this, or many (if any) experiences since you seem to be the kind of person who repeats the same mistakes over and over again without a care in the world...

Stating that I'm knowledge bearing means that you've identified that which I've said about you as knowledge, and therefore fact not simply to be misinterpreted as speculation.

It may come as s surprise to someone like you but contrary to what you may believe, it doesn't take a genius to point out the obvious. I'd also like to point out that it was never my intention to negatively excpose your presence (which, as written in your post aobve, is another very basic word you obviously don't even know how to spell properly) since it's something you're actually quite well at doing on your own. My intention was to help you by first giving you the opportunity to at least realize that what you're doing isn't working and that the only beneficial attention you might receive as a result of your actions and words is pity, which, of course, could have been what you were after from the beginning. Regardless, you don't seem to take anyone else's advice seriously or perhaps even have have your own doubts about the level of sarcasm (if any) being used to express opinions about you and your actions. Personally I think you just like the fact that you can get reactions out of people who aren't reluctant to express their thoughts (which as I should remind you isn't much of an accomplishment in itself anyways).

Anyways, I recommend you change your name to Gratiano since you "play the fool" so well.

Annoying has to be the understatement of the century...

You're obnoxious, immature, and less coherant than the average todler. You choose not to (possibly for reasons of spite, or the simple need to gain attention regardless of it's negative nature), or are completely unable to maintain any reasonable concept of reality and have little or no experience socially interacting with anyone who might possibly invite your company (assuming of course that they didn't know better, or actually enjoyed interacting with much lesser forms of intelligent life in order to feel superior themselves). Furthermore, despite having no cognitive, constructive, or insightful critisms to contribute to any conversation whatsoever, you commentary, opinions, sugestions, and responses to anything reflects the dillusional fantasy world which could only be created by someone as inept as you. Ironically, despite the obviousness of people's lack of intrest in what you have to say, the community's overall reaction to your otherwise useless, and resource consuming presence, you've failed to acknowledge the reality that people here actually have no respect or desire tp speak to, or read anything written by you.

Hopefuly you'll soon realize that your continued efforts are futile and accomplish nothing except possibly fuelling people's apathy and frustration with regards to anything you have to say, represent, or identify with. Seriously, for the sake of everyone here who actually values their time and regrets having wasted many precious seconds reading, and responding to your fragmented thoughts in the form of inconclusive unstructured sentences, stop posting and compromise your own desire to voice that which can only be referred to as utter stupidity.

We implore you... take a vow of silence

I just love reading about people's negligence when it comes to respecting other people's property. Like fuck, its understandable when the weather sucks but at least leave an apology note with a phone number and your insurance provider. For those asking why, well...it's simply the mature, responsable, courteous thing to do seeing as how we live in a society and you aren't the only person that matters.

Although, chances are most of you are either completely apathetic about accepting accountability for your actions, are resentful about someone hitting you and running in the past and feel this is your way of getting revenge, or have accepted that you're complete cowards and would rather live with the guilty conscience of knowing that you've directly reduced the quality of someone else's life as opposed to owning up to your mistake the way you know you should and the way you'd anticipate the other person to if the situation was reversed...
