last week was rock solid, big props to DJ Rue for puttin together a real nice chicago style set, flowing smoothly into electro, breaks, ghetto-tech and house, a bit of everything that people really enjoyed. Mr Stitch shone in his mix thursday debut, 8-bit disco trash perfectly sums up his tasty blend of dirty, funky beats that stay just shy of over the top.. nicely done Mr Stitch welcome to the family. Murdock got the shit pump pump pumpin, antibiotic stylin' and all, and Jesse Morris finished things off the way only the Dance Floorist can: with style, poise, and crazy tek house tracks with mad loud farting sounds in em and shit... thanks to all ! saaafe!!

another sick night last night thanks to all the hard work of the NCV boys -and great music from all the DJs involved.
jFizz got things started right with a friendly mix of breaks, four-on-the floor and electro, all the bomb tracks (thunderstruck. what?) type shit. dave, deliz and max kept it right vibing, exploring that NCV territory somewhere between techno house and electro for 2. 5 hours of non stop deep glitchy vocally rocking-ness. was nice to hear Omni playin at the end of the night where he had a chance to go deep dark and dirty, heavy electro basslines reppin it.
thanks to all that helped make the night a mad success, 1st floor saph's gettin hotter and hotter, definitely looking forward to a wicked spring and summer here!

personally i thought the sound was also shit during skratch bastid's set, but it was much quieter, so not as painful.

big MASSIVE huge ups to all involved for overcoming last minute weakness (i won't point any fingers wink wink nudge) but corey and andrew and all involved did an amazing job of finding a sick new venue within like, 24 hours, and of directing people to the venue and making everything possible for people to have an amazing time. sure it had to close at 3, which ended up being 3:30 anyways, but fuck, that was sick. trying to figure out today if that was montreal's biggest room for DnB ever... maybe Roni Size @ metropolis in like 98? wow. the buses, the massive warehouse sound, all added to the unmistakable 1994 flavour of the entire event.

yes, this was a night to remember to cap off a crazy weekend for montrealers, if this shit keeps up summer 06 is gonna be FUCKING FUCKING totally crazy. nutso. big ups again to all involved

Deekline got his start however as a DJ, bringing his wide range of tastes, including latin flavours, grime, funk, breaks and even hip hop into the fold, and adding the cutting and scratching skills that have made his underground mixtapes hot collectors items on the streets of london.
