(It should be said that some of those politicians own night clubs). Then again, things are much different now. Have you heard of the most recent heretik party "back to the rave" from last february ? B2R was a really shitty commercial event, mostly thanks to a crap promoter. Capacity of 7000 but around 8000 people attended (1000 tickets at 20€ ea is 20 000€) for only 20 security personnel, fights taking place outside, forbidden to bring water on site, forbidden to go out and back in, only 2 bars for the whole venue (2 hours wait for an overpriced drink), 6 buses of 60 person capacity to transport 600 persons (buses got stoned down to 3 then stopped altogether at 2 am, no more shuttle in the morning), blackmarket ticket up to 150€, fire show almost putting the stage on fire, etc. Then jagger jack, the promoter, was seen on forums denying any wrongdoing or responsibility, pointing fingers at others, insulting people and threatening others. Rings a bell ? Molitor has this taste of sacred, some worship it religiously as a symbol from a lost past, in short it has becomed the opposite of what the free-party movement was trying to do without. And now we have to deal with stupid shit such as this video from the organizers of the government funded may 1st french teknival: [ www.youtube.com ] All the opposite of what the free movement is about. |
