As for the attitude, I don't if it's because of the age, but there was definitely way more people with an "attitude" then I ever encountered at a Psy event. Even at Bassdrive people have a tendency to fucking ram into you without even some sort of apology or care. Anyways, don't want to generalize, but that has been my experience in the short time I've been going to Dupstep events. |

That being said, I've been to quite a few events over the year and I can't say that the one bad experience on NYE will make me shit on the scene as a whole.On NYE the people working the coat check were SHITFACED drunk, but bad organization and lack of control over staff can happen at ANY night. Quite frankly Excision @ the just for laughs museum was one of the best nights I had out in a really long time. Except for the fire alarm being pulled by some dumbass, the night was a smashing success in my eyes. Just my 2 cents :) |

I did not want to stop going to Dubstep events just because of that bad experience. I'm thinking of going to MT EDEN because in the end I do love the music. |

 Coolness: 49090 | Speaking for my crew, after the coatcheck fiasco at NYE, our nigh-main concern when we throw a party now is coat-check legitimacy, there are plans in the works to hire a professional coat-check company which typically works at non-longterm established events like receptions and such for the future.. we did the best we could in the aftermath, a lost and found items gathering was established for the next two days which was successful, and any jackets with ID were contacted over FB and delivered..
that being said, venue/coat stuff is logistics, the show itself went off without a hitch, which was a saving grace.. we learned a major lesson that night and will be vigilant about rudeboys in the future ;p |
