On another note, I agree that some chill dubstep would be amazing in the morning. Living-Stone would be my perfect choice for a morning with trippy dubstep. Some psydub would also be fun. I can never get my fix of that except during summer, wich is really sad. Psybient and Psydub would be dope to close a party. |

the psydub might just be a too drastic shift from the harder music that is played at parties these days... especially when they end so early... most people don't know how to dance on such low BPMs, it would turn the party off. but, i like having an alternative of chill music when i don't like the sound or the music that the dj plays... or when i just need to calm down a bit, or hold a conversation, exchange massage. make chillrooms, open up to sensuality in parties... then it has more chances to become a real psychedelic experience.... not just a word you use as a marketing ploy to attract people......... ;) Mise À Jour » AYkiN0XiA a écrit sur Sun 9 Jan, 2011 @ 9:07pm chillrooms often come with a stronger sense of community and bonding between people. cuddle puddles, good conversations, contact dancing...

| Coolness: 43645 | Living-Stone is great. There's also Anahata from Vancouver/Calgary (I know, not local but if he can be here sometime that would be something else). He produces a variety of really great and unique psy from weirder harder dancy to medium and spacey to sweet melodic downtempo. It's easy to dance to even though it's softer. His live is even better than his CDs IMO but the last time he was here was a couple years ago at Space :/
I miss chill rooms! Parties I went to out west had some of the most beautifil downtempo rooms and it balanced everything really well. Not just a smoke room with downtempo, a real beautiful decorated space for enjoying the music and relaxing together. I miss cuddle puddes too XD |

i was looking for other live music from the west coast too, found these names -- Acidengine, Akhentek, Anahata, Aya, Causai, Doktor J, NightHawk, Sinister i don't know them, but they are probably worth checking out. :) |

Yes Nystagmus, for his harder stuff. The songs are very sticky. So lucky to see the live sets. | Coolness: 166575 | the seed of life is what inspired me to create domes when i went to shambhala... such an awesome vibe into that place :) :)
i loved the live performances in the chill, i saw one guy playing the guitar while someone was playing with electronic equipment, sooo awesome... and the beautiful people dancing there, the tea, the vibe... we make chill parties here as well, lyla, did you come to one of the relaxation lounges? zenergica organizes one of those about once every 2 months or so... what i find though these nights are awesome, they also lack the balance of a good dancefloor on the other side ;) |
