Isn't it obvious that the same abuses of power exist worldwide, that as humans the issue is how these genocide-starting politicians manage to manipulate the people? How can we blindly go around talking about the actions of a country when "country" and "government" is a deceitful cover for the true power structure?
Economically speaking it makes perfect sense why these countries are at war, and why it needs to be at a fundamental level, at the level of religion. There is no other way that these regions can survive. The economy depends on mass genocides, on war, on massive means of population decrease. Realpolitik does not stop and weep for the fallen. |

Realpolitik does not stop and weep for the fallen. sure ya. but often it's not "country VS country". yes politicans will play the nationalism card to further some hidden agenda, playing off their nation against another. sure but a lot of strife is also tribe VS tribe. Warring ethnic groups. It's a devolution of empire Emperors and dictators cobbled together uneasy confederations of tribes into one nation. Once that charismatic leader or iron fist is gone, the alliance dissolves into chaos, and they revert back to inter-tribal warfare. Rwanda was but one very extreme example of that. Empires attempt to impose arbitrary borders in ancestral tribal zones  |
