The girl who's doing it is using back comb and crochet hook technique. I know it's for maintenance but you can also use it to make the dreads. She did her own with this technique

| Coolness: 685570 | Synthetic hair is heavier than regular hair.. it's not obvious at first, but eventually with the regular dread + synthetic dreads, it ends up pulling too much on them and your dreads get really thin at the roots and end up falling off (what happened to me first time I did that) |

pain in the ass the first weeks and yeah not always confortable but with the times all this gets into place dreads is a question of times, the first months are never the best, but someone with dread since years will look wayyy better look at Micheal :D (alienzed) he got crazy dreads, and they got that crazy because of all the time and years he put in them |
