 Coolness: 180070 | I have like wavy/straight hair, but it is dyed, so it knots alot by itself all the time, if I don't condition it, I have to spend like 20 minutes brushing it... |

The question is would you keep dyeing them if you dread'em? Otherwise they might just start growing back normally. If your hair aren't textured from the start, they're a pain to maintain. |

originally I wanted blue and purple.. I thought about it and it would be very annoying to have to bleach then dye the dread every two months or so.. Then I thought I should just go brown since half of my hair is brown now anyways but my hairdresser said that it would be hard to go from black to brown without damaging it too much more SO I think I'll keep dyeing it black and get the dreads.. in my mind it looks good and it wouldn't be too much of a hassle. |

 Coolness: 685570 | yeah it's easier to just keep dying black.. you don't need to wash your hair as often with dreads (as long as you condition your scalp properly ahead of time, your hair stops getting greasy) so you don't lose the colour as quickly, and with how it grows out and becomes "part" of the dread, your hair takes about 4 times as long to grow the same length it would when it's "normal" |
