It was good! But then, I loved pretty much everything by Aronofsky. I had never been stressed about ballet before tonight. Portman and Kunis played well, Cassel was awesome and the result and denouement was spectacular. Note to dudes: if you thought of seeing this movie for the Portman/Kunis sex scene, don't. If you want to see a thriller that's not set in the same routine world shown in mystery movies, please do :D |

Not really worth watching, unless you're really eager to see the concept implemented; the idea had potential but its realization is not so good. I guess that most people would enjoy close to nothing from this movie. |

And I also watched Enter the void. Weird movie. Nice image treatement, very poor scenario relying on non linear editing. Not shure what the movie meant, but it kinda looked good. |

Much better than the original, effect-wise. I've always thought that the plot of TRON was retarded and boring and I think this one is better. It's also more... adult than the first, Disney-friendly plot. The 3D elements are good enough, but most of the movie isn't in 3D... They still ask you to keep the glasses on at all times. The soundtrack is awesome. Daft Punk TRON music, hell yes! The only downside the movie has it its use of CGI to show a young Jeff Bridges (not spoiling anything, you see him in the trailer). It's pretty close to how he looks but with a little something "off" that kept bothering me. Movie is still badass! |

 Coolness: 185580 | True grit = such a great cowboy movie, love the typical story of someone seeking revenge for his father's death, but with a unusual kind of approach, since that someone is now a 14 years old girl, with one great tough personality. Cohen brothers did very well with that re-make! Those guys always delivers, i love them!
The Game = a really interesting concept that make you think the entire movie! thumbs up for the originality, love David Fincher as well!! The Towering Inferno = 1h30 too long! Paul Newman is handsome, and that's pretty much it! It could have been a really good movie, it takes a while to start, but it's mainly a movie for firefighters who think they don't have enough credits in life. (im not blasting firefighters, those guys have one of the most dangerous job in the world, im just saying the movie was a little bit too bitter) |
