Agreed. I've had a mohawk 3 times, shaved my head bald twice, and right now my hair is super short. Before my last mohawk, my hair was well passed my shoulders. I do miss my long hair, but I also miss my mohawk, and when my hair is long again, I'll miss it being short, or shaved, or whatever. When it's natural, I miss it being funky colours, and when it's coloured, I miss my natural colour. I always want what I don't have. But it's just hair. It grows back. And there is always dread falls/extensions, hair extensions, weaves, and wigs. :p

Well, don't be afraid to tell the door man if he bugs you. They are EXCELLENT at looking out for the coat check girls needs, that's for sure. I always felt safe working there.

When I lived in Hochelega, the building next door was full of crack heads and hookers. They would sit on my door step. They used to fight all the time about who's corner it was, and even get mad at me for being there. I had to scream at them that I LIVED there, I was not stealing their fucking business. And the people next door used to fight all the time. One of the hookers lived there, with what was her boyfriend or something. One night I was getting ready to go to work, and they was a huge fight outside, I heard glass smashing, and a bunch of screaming. A couple of gross old men were screaming up to the window next door, and then they smashed out all the windows and the door on the main level of the building.

Then there was the apartment building on the corner, where I swear there were like 5 adults and 12 kids living in one apartment. The "parents" were always drinking and screaming at the kids, and I always saw very young children wandering around alone.

Not long before I moved out, a hooker was drunk/high whatever, was standing in front of our door, and stumbled into it and broke it so we couldn't lock it anymore....not the place I want to live with a door that doesn't lock.

I hate that place and I would never live there again.
