Lots of money for lots of top acts, but the most important for that kind of weekend is the place it's being thrown at. I'll hold off on the pre-ale until I know the location :)

This thread reminds me of an interesting anecdote from Eclipse 2008.

I was dancing in the main area around the dance floor with a good friend of mine around 11pm on Saturday night, both high as kites on mushrooms and thoroughly enjoying our night through the looking glass. Suddenly, we stumbled upon an unattended cradle, about 100 feet from the dance floor. We approached carefully, curious but weary of this unexpected discovery. In the cradle was a sleeping baby, seemingly undisturbed by the chaos around. In a peak of our psychedelic high, we suddenly recognized this baby as our new children, gave him a name and started talking to him. It took a few minutes for our peak to pass, as we quickly realized how fucked up this really was...

Smartyz à réchauffé le dancefloor comme il faut avec un set de cheeze rempli de classiques revisités et d'anthems euphoriques, Matduke à enflammé la place avec son Hardcore agressif et délirant, puis Entity a tout simplement fait exploser la baraque. Une chance que Systembanger et Cyre étaient là pour nous ramener à l'ordre! =P

I wonder if it's at all posible to set up a dj booth in a pick-up truck, with lazers, strobe lights, black lights, smoke machine and whatnot. That would be hilarious!!

I don't know about health hazard, but after Noah's NYE party, I can say that the place has seen some major improvement in the last few years. I didn't have any problems with the air quality.

2012? What about 2011?

A big thanks to Noah and his crew for bringing us amazing sound, lighting and decoration! The vibe felt incredible during my set, and I must say Procyon Lotor did a terrific job at setting the pace after the countdown. I spent most of the night in the main room, so thanks to you guys for making me dance to some proper Hardstyle, DNB and Electro, variety is the spice of life! I also visited the Trance room and was blown away by the quality psy trance playing. Rich melodies, funky basslines and trippy samples are always appreciated.

I really like this 3d animation for the party, catches the eye. It does seem to take a lot of attention grabbing to make a party stand out for new years this time around... there's way too much to choose from!

Oh definitely not, it's a great game! I just preferred the original, I think it was more challenging. It must have been partly because of the clunkiness of the controls... they certainly improved that in the sequel.

Anyway, how much would a dreamcast go for these days? Not much I presume.

It's not something that's common with Hardcore. I guess that's more the kind of thing you'll see often in glitchy electro, but let's see, maybe I can help you.

J'EN VEUX DEUX!!!!! /in love

The zombie crew and I had an excellent time! Props to all the attendees, the costumes were amazing and very entertaining =) I love Bain Mathieu as a rave venue, and although the dancefloor was a little tight near the dj booth, I personally had no problem finding some decent space to dance. I find that a tighter crowd makes for a more tangible vibe too. At least, it didn't get too steamy and the air remained breathable until the end.

Big ups to having a dedicated photograph immortalizing all the crazy outfits throughout the night. It's really appreciated, especially when you spend quitee some time preparing your costume and it gets ruined by the end of the night by the sweating and dancing. I'm looking forward to seeing all the pictures taken by him, when can we expect an upload? I would also like to have the photograph's contact info to fetch some high quality copies of our shots.

The music was interesting for the most part, although I found Quantize pretty boring. The overall tone was very dark and repetitive, but I guess it does fit in the Halloween theme. I can't really speak from experience, but I've been told it's pretty much the common sound at Psy Trance parties here in Montreal... Being more into the uplifting, melodic and groovy Psy Trance, I'll keep my ears peeled to find some parties that could better fulfill my musical tastes in the near future. Any suggestions, anyone?
