so me n my friend went to a loft party, leaving later to go to Scream thinking we wont hav to wait in line...so like a quarter after 2..wow super 2 line ups. eventually we got in at 3. i stayed mostly in the trance & dnb room; music nothing much to make it memorable. kinda average for me. i didnt had to wait to go either upstairs or downstairs. but man.. i never felt i've been watched so much in a rave by people and even the security. As if they never seen liquid/my style of dancing. really weird. then i felt i had to dance cuz i had the feeling everyone wanted me to dance... the thing that bug me was no one didnt bother to say anything to me. anyway...i saw some of you ravewave peeps.. .recongnize from all the silly pics u guys post. didnt say hi..i was too fucked up on speed and mdma. umm i was the guy with the adidas visor, button up blue shirt, baggy pants, and 2 wristbands. biggest dissapointment; suppose to meet a friend at the party.. never found her the whole night.. damn drugs. |

we got in to the venue from Ottawa at around 12:30ish.....after some issues with lines ect. we finally got directed to which lineup we were supposed to be in. then we proceeded to wait for 3 hours. finally, we get inside. get upstairs, and mill around and enjoy ourselves for a few hours. The venue was too hot, the lighting sucked.......note to all lighting techs from someone with experiance: white lights are retarded......period...... finally Neophyte goes on.....sure they weren't able to play with all their equipment, but i dont care......It's Neophyte....I would have crawled naked across razor blades, then taken a bath in vinegar to see them. all in all, i think psychofrogg killed their careers last night....tal;k about a clusterfuck of screw ups. |

NEOPHYTE!! ASTRAL!!! Nostrum played some REALLY cool tunes Got to see a lot of people i haven't seen in a while. Really nice venue Cold running water in the bathrooms is always a plus. cons: Some headlines didn't show up Neophyte got there gear stolen thus delaying their set and cutting it into a fraction of what it was supposed to be. long ass line outside too damn hot upstairs a line to go back downstairs??? Slippery floors bitchy security bitch of a waitress at one of the bars upstairs that yelled at me for not tipping her before i even had a chance to get the rest of my cash out. Nostrum didn't play a live set. The decks were skipping alot downstairs during Nostrum's set. hearing about some crazy politics that envolved having people's tickets ripped up. A lot of my friends didn't show up, make it in or just never saw them cause of the crowd. No booze (my drug of choice) Does anyone there know how to use a compressor on any of the soundsystems? the everytime time there was a build and a drop, the volume would cut 2 seconds into the tune. So in all honestly...the music was amazing but everything else was kinda meh. I did end up paying over $100 if you include ticket and gas for my trip up there and I don't think it was worth that. Mabey if the venue had fans and neophytes set was complete, then it would have been worth it. Respect though to those who are still throwing the big ass parties...I haven't been to one of that size in a long time so that was nice. |

If you looked at the back, they had a little green light that would turn red and kick in the compressor all the time. Most of the DJs had no clue wtf was going on and just cranked all their shit to the max. Fuck, the hardcore room had better sound than the DnB room. |

| Coolness: 105855 | I've been in bed for about 24 hours, i finally woke up. I've puked about 7-8 times since yesterday. I don't know why. Anyway, they party was pretty good, but definitely too hot. The venue was very pretty but not meant for a rave. I enjoyed a lot of the music, especially Nostrum's set who i was mostly looking forward to. What sucks is that i never really got close to him to see if he was spinning or playing live, nonetheless he played Brainchild and that made my night. To my great surprise though, i spent most of my night in the jungle room because it was less crowded and less hot. |

The DnB room was incredible. hehe infectious was right, the couple fucking was like 3 feet in front of us.... anyways, I was so horny that night... I didn't mind the show ( nor did my girlfriend ;P ) I have a feeling lots of people are gonna bitch about this party, but i ave one thing to say: You should have got there earlier!!! So if anyone didn't like the party or is gonna bitch against psychofrogg... well thats just too fucking bad for you. Scream was great. |

So i was anxious waiting at the door. Then astral start,girlfriend still outside,louis getting mad crazy at security staff,cops arrive,firetruck. At this point i was like fuck off,i went in the hardcore room and ad a mega blast that's it. Anyway lesson learned,i will no more attend a party down town. The fuckin guy who was controlling everything(all dress in black with a leather coat.he was the source of many problem. Also a hippy guy got block at the entrance cause the security didn't like his face.Way to go fuckin nazy FUCK BEST SECURITY so i saw a lot of how the shit evolve and louis passed a really hard time.On rave montreal psychofrog said that they will start to refund people who still have their ticket. |
