 Coolness: 131540 | guys , if you ever talk with the openbsd development team or their majordomo's mailing list , you would see that people not only hide behind their computer , but fesable land distance for www projects its as easy to pick a fight that will never lead nowhere with people from bc , as it is to help a guy in palestine set up his kernel to build the wifi drivers.... done both , not ashame , plus the palestine guy was already being bashed on backtracks's irc so i help him out with something totally unsupported and never talk to him ever again , prolly made his day but it did mine . i just try to opt all my time towards what needs it , not just personnal ego gain from quick whippin some guy over an email lol. guilty pleasure of life though , its quite hard not to tell somebody to fuck off when you truly beleives he deserve it on daily basis, but seeing how its widescale i prefer to be harder on myself and just move out . as its so much more powerfull to ignore somebody thats looking for attention than serving them the pizza they as for so much ( haha remember that awsome line : " like are you totally beggin me to messup that pizza face of yours ? " ) but imo i prefer seeing cartoons arguing as such (to educate and laugh) than seeing peoples bad side over and over again .

You respond with ''Yeah, you're a fucktard too, get the fuck out of my face''. This is ACCEPTABLE consistent behavior. Get it? I agree that it is frustrating when you know the person online is much more different than they are in the really real world, but even though it seems prevalent on this site, I know most of you people and you are very much capable of having the same attitude on and off line (good or bad), though I gotta say most of you are much nicer in person ;) However, there are exceptions, such as when two decent people fight in a thread, then meet in real life and realize they are both decent human beings, and work out their differences. They may not become friends, but they get along better, and the online fighting stops. There's no hypocrisy in being more peaceful in real life in order to fix an online feud since it's easier to actually talk to someone, looking into their eyes, than it is to settle problems online when all the shit is laid out in front on hundreds of people, and there are 'reputations' at stake. :) |
