Merci pour le support. it's not only because of the weather that we didn't come (but brining the sound system out when the meteo says THUNDERSHOWERS ALL NIGHT is a fucking stupid idea anyways) we KNEW that it would get busted in less than an hour because of the bad organization and the 1500+ people attending who the majority of them were completely random. im not hating on new comers but throwing bottles off the highway and asking a COP for directions because you're fucking lost when you get off the bus shows that you should be home with mommy and daddy rather than out in unfamiliar grounds. NOW, we are completely with the "free party" movement and supported the ideas of the (promoter) of this party but WE told (him) and im sure 34583408956 other people told (him) too that if (he) would throw this party in this specific spot it WOULD get ruined because what was organized was too big for a small terrain that is considered full (to us) when we cram in 200 people. No shit if you try for more there WILL be problems. This was guaranteed and warned by many not only by "hardtimes" and "ntk". So please don't speak for others. It wasn't "bad luck" that got this party busted... it was just an EPIC fail considering everyone who attended was aware they would have to leave within hours... all you had to do is look around! ... that's got nothing to do with luck.  Coolness: 166530 | more people = a higher douche : cool ratio ... the only people to blame are the ones who don't know shit about being subtle, whoever they may be. Though, be as secretive as possible, even a group of 200 ninjas is still not subtle ... but I think it may have still been possible to to gather so many people in a less noticeable way.
About the location, of course it was a bad idea, but did anyone help find a better more efficient spot? Obviously not. Anyway, this gives alot to think about to the rave scene in general. Maybe it'll prove to be a step forward in figuring out the logistics of throwing a massive event, finding new locations, and in properly re-building the scene ... .. . Cheers to those who put effort into this, whether or not it was a bad idea. Could've been real cool. Some of the different crews seem to have split opinions on all this, but I hope that it doesn't cause permanent damage to the possiblity of the scene/promoters working together. |

Whatever... promoters will pay the price as usual and life will go on. As a side note there are a lot of new young kids entering the scene. All they want to do is get fucked up and party. It's something were gonna have to adjust to. If you do things properly you shouldn't have any problems. It's probably the first increase in rave attendance in a while, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. |

It was the 3rd epic, and yeah it got busted. I played at the 1st one, it was an amazing party and everyone loved it. Last year the same! This year lots of efforts were done to bring a good show to people and they are happy about this bust and laugh about it. Well remember kids ( talking to promoters ) Nobody is perfect , and i just hope your party get busted as well one day and people instead of being sad missing the event they will have tons of fun making fun about it. I'm sad to see we are at that point of the scene where other promoters and their friends take so much pleasure about a bust. Vous êtes tous ben bon pour chialer, mais des fois prendre des risques c'est ce qui fait avancer la scène. People had something different to do for a couple of hours and then like always when one party stops, five more start. |

If the party had been $30 and was busted I could understand the bitching, but we're talking about a FREE party here people, which was put on for your enjoyment by people who obviously care and put a lot of work into it. So respect to all those involved and thank you for having the balls to put on such big events even if they don't always work out as planned. PS Rakoon, let me know when you're able to throw a party or show that you can contribute something positive to the scene, and then come critisize those who actually try. My 2 cents |
