if you read french get any "san antonio" book.

funniest shit ever. Its the adventures of a french cop and his friend that has the biggest cock in the world. There are around 300 books and they get laid around 10 times throught the book by different girls.

The whole books are written in "calembours"

Hygiène de l'assassin, Amélie Nothomb
Notes from the Underground, Fyodor Dostoyevski
Noces et l'été, Albert Camus
Germinal, Émile Zola
L'immortalité, Milan Kundera
Le Parfum, Patrick Suskind
Les souffrances du Jeune Werther, Goethe

penny-arcade rocks.
and azazel, you might want to check out stuff by Alan Watts. I hate the guy, but you might like his books.

One of the most prominent Zen philosophers of the west, he's well known for his knowledge of Eastern religions.

His books are well written and easy enough to read. Give one a shot if you haven't already.

On The Taboo Against Knowing Who You Are is a classic mindfucker of a book written by him during his hippy years in San Fran. It's one of his weaker, though more well known, pieces.
