jungle elf...i picked up the first installment of the wheel of time series...i dunno, it didnt spark my interest.

I am in love with the sword of truth novels...i am eagerly awaiting the next volume. BEcause the last one was terrible...richard and khala we not even visible...terrible.

jungle-elf: I hated l'Alchimiste

I find the author tried too hard
it was too "in-your-face" enlightenment for my tastes

weevil, before you persist in making yourself look like an idiot, let me familiarize you with a branch of the english language called slang:

when you say something "IS the shit" it's not to assume that by the arrangement of these words we presume "the book WAS shit".

get it?

"is the shit" and then continuing with the implication it was one of my "fav's" an abbreviation for "favorites" it was "good". is that a simple enough term for you? "good"?

Saying Dan Simmons is the “absolute shit” can be interpreted that you are referring to the author Dan Simmons as “absolute shit”.

Perhaps I am not used to technodium candykid slang, I will proceed to bang my head against a wall for 5 minutes so I can adapt to this wonderful new way of communication.

azazel: i was so dissappointed with the last sword of truth, and the first wheel of time is the worst one actually, they get better as they go along

miss amanda: the alchemist was all right for what it was, in general i think he tries to hard but i like the concepts behind his books, veronika decides to die was the one that i liked the most. i didn't like the celestine prophecy for the same reason that you didn't like the alchemist :) was it you that like self by yann martel? have you read life of pi as well?

you're calling me a candykid? why? this serves as a good insult? god, you must have had one long year of partying under your belt. got me there scottyp!

should check your glasses prescription and stop being so bias.

...

now. i'll conceed. i see what you mean, i understand how you interpreted it. but that's no reason for mild hostility.

actually 3 years of partying, and about 6 years of listening/producing the music... 10 years of glasses use. 2 or 3 years of ravewave posting. 19 years of insults and hostility.

Heather, tell me when you read the first line of Neoromancer.

Did you also get that warm, tingly, "This is gonna be sooooooooooo good" feeling that I do every time I read it? :)

i wish i could read. What i mean is that i dont have time, or maybe it's lack of patience. I have tons of skool shit to read so if I'm not going to read that I'm not going to read a book cause then i get the guilt feeling for not reading what i should first.

I love the fire that rumbles in kira's eyes...so sexy hahaha

Jungle elf: I really did not understand what Goodkind was attempting to do in that book. Creating new characters with intricate development, then having well one of them die. Maybe Richard's half sister becomes a predominant character in the near future...let's just pray.
btw what’s with all the female molestation...such as, when kahlan gets thrown into the jail of rapists and murders...while her confessor powers have been "removed"...
well the next installment better be damn good...to make up for the shitting pillars of creation.
And what happened to all the Gars!

i agree, the next one better be damn good and tie together all the new charaters somehow

and more mord sith
