people tend to skip the "pay your dues" line these days so I'm not surprised at all by this.

Well, I for one appreciate the Friday weekly, given that I work every other nights and miss out on every other dub nights. At least now I'll be able to go out and enjoy some womp womps with a beer in hand once in a while.
I'm feeling on the edge right now..

That's exactly why we wanted a FRIDAY weekly. For more people to come, more sick DJs, and more beers.
I'm feeling wawaowawaowowawoawawa right now..

good job guys.

screw all you haters. I think you might be jealous.
Go hate on House and Electro instead.... since FOR YEARSSSSSSSSSS it has over run every FUCKING city in CANANDAAAAA

finally something i love is easily accessible to the masses.
Cheers on that.

Good job Bouddha S.

----

AC Slater producers all sorts of beats, not only fidget.... cause he's not a hater like most of you old cranks in here.

Host.wun:
skips dues.... BAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Get real and work harder, then maybe you'll be on the other side enjoying success instead of worrying about what your peers think.

16yr old are making the most dynamic and innovating music, and not only now, not only this year, not only in dubstep.... Remember Limewax??

----

PEACE!
Much love for the bass lovers.
screw you haters, stay home or go play with the house/minimal crowd. HA!

I don't see how it's hating to state there is too much of one sound being played. No one inthis thread has statedthey hate dubstep or dubstep nites.

Just to be clear in case it wasn't mentioned before the TEMPO night at Karma is a once in a while thing. The next one might not be till July.

Who cares about limewax, we're talking about over saturating the scene with dubstep here.
Yes they may be 16, yes they make tunes, are they any good? No, so you get fucking real.
If the music doesnt speak for itself it's just another generic sounding tune thats
trying to make the press. Like 80% of dubstep made today. Anyways, stop confusing the issue.
Where talking about over-saturation in the scene.

I'm happy where I am with my career, you think just because I dont get booked at dubstep
nights means I'm a hater? You're a bandwagon pusher bro, nobody gave a FUCK about your style
of music til 2006, so you get real. You're the product of a fluke, and it just so happens
that you picked the right city to leech your music onto.

These guys are also running an Electro/Dubstep night.
Why are you even hating on Fidget/House? You should have NO bias towards it if you're
gonna defend music as a whole. I love dubstep, that's something you probably dont
know, but this whole "we're taking over and I'm glad" attitude is exactly what I hate.
You aren't taking over shit, half the dubstep made in this city sounds like garbage and will
never make a cutting plate. It's all digital labels now, why? Cause the industry is over saturated
with womps and farts. Get a tune cut to vinyl then boast about how well you're doing.

Funny that you laughed at "paying dues" since that's been the order in uhmm, everywhere I can think of including office jobs. You think by running a weekly you're paying dues? Bro 2 years
ain't shit, talk to me in another 5 then you can laugh at paying dues, cause you'll have PAYED them.

One.

Host, you know I've got nothing but respect for you, but this is getting annoying.

I for one am happy there's gonna be a weekly on Fridays, playing music I appreciate, most probably gathering a crowd of people I like to hang out and dance with. There hasn't been a nice Friday offering for me since what... Don't fake the breaks @ Vinyl?

T'sall a matter of taste. Which, in Construct's case, is pretty varied, btw. I got a glimpse of his expansive vinyl collection recently.

... How 'bout you check out Long Dark Tunnel next Friday, and see for yourself? Guy can play a mean jungle set, trust me.

As for this particular Friday, I'll see if I can attend, since there's also MRK1 on the same night. Yeah, more dubstep.

Still, good luck with this night, Buddha Slinky :)
I'm feeling peachy right now..
