If there is no snow, I don't see why I should not be able to ride it especially since I'm paying the same premiums for a scooter as I would a car and can't use it for 4 months of the year... |

I asked the SAAQ that refered me to Ministère du Transport which acknowledge you can wear winter tires for scooters. I also asked my insurer which allowed me to ride with them (winter tires). After my initial rush to want them, I went downtown then couldn't start because something froze so realized that unless I could constantly park it inside. I'll manage with the bus for a third of the year ; anyway half of that time I would've taken the bus anyway, freezing my ass at -20 or with 3" of snow isn't my cup of tea. |

I just said to be careful, Ive already heard of people getting tickets for riding their motorcycles last year prior to mar 15. YOu could for sure fight any ticket you do get, but the law right now as it is, has created a grey zone for scooters. Between Dec 15-Mar 15 ALL MOTOR vehicles need to be equipped with snow tires A vos risques is all I'm saying |
