Also digging and stuff to make it nicer. They seem to have a nice plan for the mountain, but the plan does not involve us. In theory we can fight for a new event to happen on the mountain but it will take about 2 years to do that. We can start the process and see what happens. Because the mountain is a heritage site, it's a lot of voting between the different heritage groups and it's basically a waste of time to even try, but I'll try. Possible locations are Promenade Bellerive or Jarry Park. The Promenade Bellerive is a definite yes, but I asked to see if we can use Jarry Park instead and they will get back to me. One thing I want to know is would people prefer every Saturday or every Sunday. It's possible to do something on both days so I need to choose the day which you guys would think would be the best. The Jarry Park location could hold about 300 people, The Promenade Bellerive can have over 2000 people. Jarry Park is in the middle of the city (kind of), while Promenade Bellerive is looking the water, has a lot of picnic tables and a huge stage but is in the east end. A nice thing about Promenade Bellerive is that there is nothing happening in that whole area which means lots of potential for people to come. Because of the huge space, this could be interesting. There is storage space for our equipment in both places which means we don't have to travel all the time with the equipment. Another possibility is Parc Maisoneuve... But they said there are lots of things happening there also. Let me know! fuck, why is the city being such cock smokers... there has to be a way, you got to understand quebec and montreal are all about 'CULTURE', all you have to do is prove to the bureaucrats that you have been doing it for years they gotta let you do it... you gotta get that news lady Tara Shwartz from CFCF down there one day when you guys have music, and tell her your story, like imagine noah standing infront of the gazeboo while someone is mixing psy trance being all like "Look man, it's our culture, you know we just want it to survive and prosper" (but more thoughtful and articulate like noah can be), and there wont be a dry eye in all of montreal and the gazebo party on sunday can stay YEAH! (remember kids, this is a plan i came up with while commimg down on E and K-ing out so it's not my fault if it doesn't work)
I'm feeling surly right now.. |

I don't care where it is as long as I have my Sundays in Montreal, I miss being able to chill out in the sun with music and friends.

Bellerive is not far from H-Beaugrand or Assomption metro, and its a beautiful space..
Jarry is central but..... Jarry is still a very popular park, there is a poste de police adjacent to it on St Laurent, and you get the crowds from Uniprix stadium You think when the Canadian Open errr sorry Rogers Open tennis tournie is in town the city will still allow you all to do your thing? I vote promenade, cuz its a new space, outta the way. Bellerive could be entirely our space. Oh and P-vamp, there are baseball diamonds at Bellerive as well

the gazebo is going to be no more... they are destroying it this year, and moving it to a new place next year when they expand the mountain and only after that would it be possible to do something there...
